This design's in the coupe style, so even though it's a 12-oz. size (my cups are 10-oz.'s), I thought that because it's porcelain, it would still be lighter weight, and my 10-oz. cups could neatly nest in the 12-oz. size. However, these 12-oz. "Commercial" cups are big, heavy, thick, suitable for the diner trade, but not for me. Additionally, they came filthy, tacky from dried glue, dusty, somewhat scraped on the bottoms, and some yellowed by age. These were bought "NEW" (and supposedly unused), but what I received was neither new, unused, or even made within the relatively recent past. I suppose with bleach and scouring powder, they might clean up, but they're still too heavy for my wrists to comfortably lift. What they charged for this mess was almost $30.00, which when divided by 12 cups, comes out to about $2.50 per cup. At any Dollar Tree, you can get cups for $1.25 each, in much better condition than what I received, and you can buy exactly the amount you need. Makes me wanna rethink how I do things. because often enough I've tied up my money buying a pig in a poke, only to face the formidable task and expense of returning heavy things to Amazon, when I can't lift the box or walk to the drop-off point. And this is no third party seller, but Amazon's own brand! ... show more

I have loved these cups since I used them back in our rental. So I decided to buy a set for 30$, and it arrived broken. 6 out of 12 arrived broken. Now I have to return it! What a hassle. :(

The cups were well packed to prevent damage during shipping. The cups are sturdy so they don't easily tip. I would highly recommend these cups.
