Writing this after taking this suitcase on two cross-country trips. The issue with suitcases I have had is that they are either too small, too heavy, or fall apart after 1-2 trips (not all at the same time). However, this suitcase, while on the heavier side, is lighter than other suitcases I have had, is very spacious, and, most importantly, barely even scratches after two cross-country trips. 22 trips for work, sometimes with books, usually very heavy. This bag is still usable, careless handling has broken a zipper, I fixed it with a zip tie. Definitely worth the money. Has held up very well everything besides the zipper works. Just heavily used. I will probably buy the same one

Purchased 2 of the 30” spinners, back in 2019 has traveled well only on a few trips spinning nicely and holding up well to handling. Unfortunately 7/2024 our luggage arrived open at the airport and spilled contents on the conveyor belt…we found the zipper to have failed and opened at the zipper interlocking teeth dumping all the clothes, etc. please note the luggage was packed nicely and weight was not a factor, carrying just clothes, cannot trust again and have to consider another brand as a replacement. ... show more

The Amazon deep discount spring sale pricing of the 28' Amazon Basic suitcase was really great so I bought two. One black, which came from China and one blue, which came from Cambodia. The construction on both was nearly identical with some very slight trim differences. The Amazon Basic expansion zipper doesn't fully surround the suitcase. Both suitcases didn't smell when opened like most suitcases do at local big box stores. The weak link on these Amazon Basic suitcases appears to be the lack of heavy duty zippers and maybe wheels. That said, my 23" Amazon Basic suitcase zipper and wheels have not failed after surviving several air trips. Based on the no smell unboxing and the deep discount Spring Sale Amazon pricing I'm awarding my two new 28" bargain suitcases five unboxing stars. ... show more

Like the lite weight and strong zipper, but bearings in wheels only lasted two months. Where didn't fall off but won't spin with any load in suitcase after a month is traveling. Makes getting around very difficult.
