Better Than I Expected

They were out of the brand I usually buy, so I ended up trying these and was pleasantly surprised. I drink them both as lattes with milk and as plain espresso shots. For the price, these are probably the closest I’ve found to Nespresso. They don’t have that overly burnt taste that some dark roasts get, and the pods also seem well made and not cheap-looking.

Good Buy

As an addicted Nespresso person, I welcome this product. Amazon had some real problems with their coffee capsules in the past. The boxes arrived squished and broken, and the coffee was loose and not usable. After experiencing this several times, I looked for other pods. I LOVE the original Nespresso capsules and do have a subscription for one in particular but looking for alternatives that are just as tasty but lower in cost for us who use 3-6 capsules daily is a good idea. Right now, as long as Amazon keeps up the packaging, quality, and the more reasonable price, I'll keep my subscription for this too. NOTE: The tight, really tight foil covers on the pods are important. If the foil is less than super tight, you wouldn't get the full value of the grounds. Nespresso original pods always have a slight outward hump so when installed into the machine the nubs that penetrate the foil will open the holes wider so you get more coffee while processing. Most pods, other than Nespresso, don't do this which may be the reason they are slightly less expensive.

I wanted to share my thoughts on the Amazon espresso pods . In my opinion, this is the best espresso out there—it is even better than Lavazza for a fraction of the price. The quality actually equals Nespresso pods, which makes me wonder if Nespresso might even be the manufacturer for Amazon.

These pods are great they work in my Pixie Nespresso machine great. Fabulous flavor depth besides straight shots they make wonderful Cappuccino not wet and dry. I wish I could get them like my others once a month in auto reorder.. I don’t get any leak by in the tray and the flow is good it’s a little slower then the Nespresso brand pods.. the flavor is every bit as good as the Nespresso branded pods. I will reorder.
