I had just moved into my new apartment and found some older flat screens off FB Marketplace. They weren't too old, but a little outdated and didnt have streaming apps on them, so I opted for getting a couple firesticks for them. Super easy to set up, no lagging from the devices, and pretty quick to set up too. Best decision I've made. They work great. Video quality is top-tier even if the TV quality itself isnt the best on the market. They're pretty solid but easy to hide behind your TV. Depending on your TV functions, the remote will also control your TV so you can ditch the main remote when you need to turn the volume up and down or the TV on and off. It doesn't offer input switch though.

I wasn’t expecting a huge difference, but the Fire TV Stick 4K really impressed me. Setup took about 5 minutes, and everything just worked. Menus feel faster, apps open almost instantly, and streaming is smooth even during peak hours. The 4K picture quality is sharp, and the voice search is surprisingly helpful—I can just say “action movies with car chases” and it actually finds good options. The remote is simple, Alexa works well, and having all the apps in one place makes everything convenient. For the price, this feels like a real upgrade—easy to use, fast, and reliable.

I’m genuinely impressed with the Amazon Fire Stick 4K. It completely upgraded my home entertainment experience. From the moment I opened the box, everything was straightforward. Setup took less than 10 minutes: plug it in, connect to Wi-Fi, sign into my accounts, and I was ready to go. The streaming quality is incredible. The 4K Ultra HD picture is sharp, with rich colors and great contrast—especially noticeable when watching movies with Dolby Vision and HDR. Even fast-moving scenes play smoothly without buffering or lag, which was a big issue with my previous streaming device. The interface is clean and easy to navigate. I love that all my apps like Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and Disney+ are in one place, and switching between them is quick. The remote is another highlight—it’s simple, responsive, and the Alexa voice control works surprisingly well. I can just say what I want to watch, and it pulls it up instantly, saving a lot of time. I’ve been using the Firestick 4K for a while now and overall, I'm quite pleased with its performance and ease of use. The setup was a breeze, and I really appreciate the consistent user interface it provides across all my TVs, which is especially helpful for my wife. However, I have a serious issue with the remote. It feels cheap and flimsy, and honestly, the removal of the IR Blaster is baffling. I don't understand how this design made it to market, as it complicates setup for those of us with soundbars or surround systems that connect via optical cables. Additionally, the dedicated app buttons are a real annoyance. I often find myself accidentally launching other apps instead of streaming my preferred content on YouTube TV. I wish there were an option to disable them or even assign them to apps I actually use. If you're considering this device and can find it on sale for about $25, it's worth it for the streaming capabilities, but be prepared to navigate a frustrating remote experience.

I wish I bought one of these sooner because I love it. I use it almost everyday and I’ve noticed no glitches or malfunctions at all which is great because in my area I’ve always had lots of issues with connectivity and WiFi in general isn’t the best here. But it still manages to work even in a snow storm. This product is also super easy to set up and just a very reliable and easy to use device. I would recommend buying immediately honestly.
