Our toddler loves her tablet! It's excellent in the car for when she gets fussy, very durable, and simple enough for a 2 year old to learn to navigate quickly. We showed her the basics and within a week or so she was downloading what she wanted, playing simple games, and watching kid-safe web videos all by herself. We even switch to the adult profile and pull up YouTube for her when we're supervising and she navigates that very well. Would 100% recommend, it's the holy grail of keeping your little one occupied when you need a few mins. Also note, I'm a very involved stay-at-home mom and while some people may use screens as a babysitter, I don't allow more than what's healthy for her age range. Tablet going "night night" is never an issue in our household. Also battery life is killer! Lasts sometimes days before needing charging but keep in mind it's not in use for more than an hour or 2 each day ... show more

EDIT** My son started using my profiles side of the tablet (without Amazon kids) due to the issues we were having below about the quests. When we went back today to his side, the issue was no longer there. Amazon called and was willing to help! I now have a good way to reach back if it happens again. I'm super happy to have been connected to some real customer service. Other than this very annoying glitch, it is a good device, I do wish I could figure out how to remove certain built in YouTube videos, but overall it's been a really nice device. I would wait until age 3+ First off, I wish I would have waited until my son was older to purchase this. They have built in YouTube videos, so even if you remove the app there are still videos on there that I don't want him watching and are difficult to monitor. The MOST ANNOYING thing is the "quests" that are built in to the device. They are fun games. At first they were great. Then they started leaving constant pop ups to continue the games, you can swipe them aside but they pop back up so fast that it's difficult to select anything else on the tablet. It's honestly almost unusable at this point, my son just cries because he can't use it effectively anymore. I've contacted customer service with no help and was told it's a built in feature. I bought this tablet really just for the car. My 2 yr old really could care less about it in the house, but it’s heaven sent for car rides. My child has an older sibling who has an iPad and it made my toddler scream through half our car rides because she wanted what she didn’t have (typical siblings). I have downloaded a few blippi and Dora videos and now we have peaceful car rides. I did also order the SD card to go with it. My review is solely based on just using it to entertain my kiddo on car rides. It does seem a little slow for games and stuff, but for the price point I’m satisfied! ... show more

Got this for my 18 month old just to watch cartoons on. Works out pretty well. My only complaint is you cant download the actual youtube kids.. otherwise its extremely kid friendly/proof and cant beat the price. Definitely get a screen protector. The case is crazy good also!

This tablet is a little smaller than expected but perfect for little hands. My son 4yr old had a 10 inch tablet but I got him this one since it’s smaller and more kid friendly. It’s so much easier to carry and for him to pick his games. The battery life is pretty good usually lasts about 10 to 12 hrs
