I needed a new pair of black boots, and I checked out before I could find a reason not to get them. I always save items, but never come back for some reason or another. I wasn't sure I was gonna like them as much as I do. I wish the sole of the boot wasn't so thick, but if I wear with leggings you can even tell. My better half said they look like rain boots. Maybe, but I think they have a motorcycle vibe to them. The 7.5 fit good as long as I'm not wearing heavy socks. I should of got an 8. They run true to size in the foot. If you have a wider foot you may want to go up a half size. I have a good size calf, so if you have an above average calf, these will fit nicely. They have the stretching material going up the boot, so I think wide calfs can give these a try. I almost picked the brown shade instead of black because I love the two tone. I needed a black simple boot for winter that weren't to expensive. I will try to update after I know how they hold up in the rain and snowy winter....

These boots are a stellar value for what they offer. - They are really stylish and seem to go with everything. - They are true to size. - As someone with average calves, They still look good great, but I could also see these working for people with slightly wider calves, as there is the mesh on the side that could stretch a bit. - They are comfortable. I wore them on an evening trip to Disneyland and was comfortable wearing them around the park. Overall, they're just nice boots that look great and are comfortable. What more could you want from a shoe, especially at such a fantastic value.

If you have large calves, despite these boots having an elastic panel on the side, they don't really stretch that much to accommodate a bigger calf. The front also wrinkles in a weird way. Other than that, though, they're pretty comfortable. The footbed/sole part itself is also a little narrow.

I am positively shocked at how well these boots fit me. Normally it’s guess and check with most brands because I have flat feet so I need a wider shoe/boot so I wasn’t sure if this boot would work for me but it fits my foot like it was made for me. It you have wider calves there is a stretching panel at the side that has some give to it too. I put them in and did a standing test just wearing them around my home for 30/45 minutes to see if they would cause any pain and I have no discomfort at all. They feel very well made and not like boots you’re going to have to break in which is beyond worth it to me. As someone who grew up in Austin wearing western boots these look a little different from what I might normally reach for but I enjoy the finish and the fit and they look great on.

I have a wide foot and I hoped going up half a size would help me out with these boots. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The boots fit too snug against my pinky toe. I also struggle to raise the zipper when not worn. The boots are beautiful and look very classy. They would come in handy for this cold weather. I do think they are priced decent for the quality.
