I usually wear a 1x in tops, sometimes a 2x for tight fitting pieces, but seeing how this has kind of a cropped shape, I went with a 2x even though it's stretchy. So glad I did, I love that it's oversized and it's just the right length. Hits just below the waist but not so high that I'm always worried about showing off more than intended. It's very thick and warm, and both the color and texture are great... The sage green is so pretty, not quite as intense as the picture but I prefer the more muted green. I may get another color too! I kind of wish it was a little cheaper but everything is pricey these days. It does stretch out a little throughout the day but not terribly. Material is really soft, not itchy. I received the first sweater as a Christmas gift and liked it so well that I ordered a second one for myself. It fits perfectly for me. I'm short at 5'3 and the length is where I want it. For a tall person it might be a little short unless you like sweaters that length. It's not close fitting either. There's plenty of room to wear a shirt underneath. On me it's about 4 inches below the waist. The pattern is nice; but, what I like about it most is the softness & warmth without being bulky. I ordered the orange at a greatly reduced price. I couldn't pass it up. It's a soft orange (not bright) Almost like a light orange. The other one I was given as a gift was the coffee brown and it's like a chocolate brown and very flattering. This sweater is so soft! I’ve really wanted a sweater this color for a while now and decided to try this one. I love the color and the sleeves are a great length. I’m broader in the shoulders and have longer arms so I usually need to size up for arm length. I was pleasantly surprised that the sleeves were perfect. I also didn’t realize that the sweater had white yarn in it. At first when I saw this through the packaging I was skeptical. Once I put it on however, I liked that the white yarn softened the pink a bit. It also isn’t noticeable while wearing unless you look closely. I did end up returning the sweater due to the shorter length. In the images, the model has it tucked in giving off the impression it is longer. I’m not fond of the boxy -cropped look. My husband didn’t think it was flattering on me and pointed out that it was short enough that it would ride up in the back when I bend over or sit down. ... show more

    • Very warm, cheery color, nice pattern, weird fit, size way down?

I usually wear XL in Amazon brands, always when the items are described as "slim-fit," and even though people said this was boxy, I stupidly followed Amazon's guide that said "get XL." It's definitely way too wide (it actually folds in to the center of my body rather than draping normally) and the arms are very long, but with cuffs too loose to push up for a more blouson look... which is a bit strange since it has such a tight (cozy) crew neck. The sweater is also a bit short (and I am short waisted). It works with high waisted jeans, but if the intention was pretty-slouchy, I'd have preferred the sweater to cover my bottom. Overall, if I hadn't gotten this on super-sale, I probably would have returned it. Consider sizing down two sizes of you can live with the slightly cropped length. PS It doesn't shrink like some of the other reviewers indicated. One reviewer gave me hope, claiming that hers shank just enough in the wash, but I can't test that because my dryer no longer has heat. :/ Great for home, maybe errands, I was self-conscious at work though, and was constantly fighting the sleeves. If this same knit were offered in a more normal sweater cut, I'd buy it without qualms because it was so dense and warm (unlike all cotton) and not itchy (unlike wool)! ... show more

This is probably my new favorite sweater. It's ridiculously soft and it's nice and warm, it doesn't let the wind in! It looks good in a professional setting. It's a very cute green. One thing to keep in mind is you get what you pay for. I don't think this sweater will last forever. It's been a go to for a few months and it's already showing some signs of wear and tear, but I didn't pay an arm and a leg for it, so I'm not going to complain. ... show more

I ordered the orange in a Large, as I am 5'5" and 164 pounds (size 12). I got a beautiful sweater that was too big. It's exceptionally soft and I like the style and color, but It was huge. I couldn't do an even exchange as I got it on sale and would have paid twice as much to get the next size down... so I shrank it. I washed the sweater and put it in the dryer for 30 minutes. The sweater is a size smaller now and I love it. It didn't pill or lose its shape either. I think this is a great sweater. I just wish I had ordered a Medium the first time. ... show more
