I love these nice long chino shorts. Great for someone middle aged that doesn’t want to wear daisy dukes lol. They are mostly cotton and very soft with just the right amount of stretch. The pockets are great. They are cut small. In Amazon essentials jeans I take a 6, in these I take a 10. That is the same with other brands like gap… I am sized wide at the waist and skinny in the rear and legs so in chino type styles I always have to size up. They go up to my belly button so I’d consider them to be high rise, not mid. I am 5’9, around 165 lbs. I wanted to show a pic close up and far away. These are the black. I also have pink (a very light pink) and the dark yellow ones since they perfectly match one of my heeled sandals. I’ve been really pleased with Amazon essentials clothing and shoes and these are no exception. If I had one minor criticism it would be that in one of my pairs the button isn’t sewn in that great. I love these shorts. I bought my size 16, and they fit perfectly, I have lost 10 pounds, so I would go up a size , of your true size. I wish they came in denim and bright colors, too. I would buy several pair.

I was hoping these shirts would be as nice as Lee Bermuda shirts but they weren’t even close. I prefer 100% cotton shirts, they are just more comfortable. The material is stiff and very thick. There is no give to the material which makes them uncomfortable. Also the pockets are kind of small so if you have a larger phone it probably won’t be comfortable to carry in the pocket. These are great shorts.. they definitely run very small.. So size up!!! It took a couple purchases to find my size and when I did... Well I ended up buying every color 😂🤷🏼♀️ Plus I got them on a sale at just $8.30 a piece! There soft and very comfortable, light weight and the white is non see thru👍🏼 They look very nice on too. I like reading reviews from real people, with actual sizing measurements, height and weight, age, and photos. So here goes! I am 50 years old, 5’7”, 143 pounds. My waist at bellybutton is 30.5” and hips are 40.5. According to the size chart, this would mean I take a 10, but I ordered 10s first and they were too tight. I then bought a size 12 in navy and khaki (I would call it more of an olive green than khaki). The 12s fit well. The navy ones are a little bit gappier in the waist than the khaki (see photo), but with a belt it won’t be a problem. Since I am middle-aged, I want longer shorts that cover up my thighs. I took photos wearing them long and also with the cuffs rolled up. These shorts are a good thickness – not too thin or thick. These look classy enough that I can wear them to social events in the summer or even to work occasionally. I would definitely recommend these Amazon shorts. ... show more
