Good quality and fabric for the price, and this sweater is no exception. It is a cotton/modal/poly blend that is beautifully soft; lightweight, yet warm. There is no elastane/spandex, but the knit of the fabric gives the sweater a slight stretchiness that makes it very comfortable and figure-flattering. I would definitely wash on delicate and hang dry; it looks like it will be prone to pilling if not gently cared for. I ordered a size Medium. I am 5’3”, 145 lbs, 36D. I typically wear a women’s size medium, and the Med size fit ok. The fabric is a thin, lightweight cotton, which I wanted as I tend to get too warm in sweaters. The neckline shown is more scooped than the sweater actually is - it's more of a crew neck, which I didn't really want because horizontal stripes AND a scoop neck, tends to make women look wider vs. narrower in my opinion. The fit is ok - as predicted. Actual sweater Med size measurements across the front when laid flat: chest: 18.5", arm length shoulder to cuff edge: 24", Arm width at bicep: 5.5", waist: 18.5"; Shoulder to hem: 25" Fabric quality: soft cotton, nice quality/better than expected - could pass for a light weight Name Brand sweater. Overall verdict: keeper. Even though the neckline isn't what I prefer and not what is pictured, the quality, overall fit, and classic style is a workable combination. ... show more

I have 4 of these in different colors. Love them as they are easy to care for, colors are fabulous and layering with a light weight sweater is a nice way to adjust as it gets cold in the evening. Great price. Fits perfectly. I’m taller than average and these go with jeans and can be dressed up with a nice silk jacket. No shrinkage, pilling or stretching out of shape. Can’t be beat for the price point. Feels nice! I was looking for a lightweight sweater that didn’t have bulk. This fit the bill perfect. I am 5’8” and about 152 lbs. and the size large fit great. It did not hug my love handles which I dislike. I would not call this ‘fitted’ or ‘slim fit’. And I also would not call the fit ‘oversized’. Just a standard/normal fit. The arms were a bit long which is rare for me because I’m broad shouldered (I have not washed it yet though). I don’t mind the arm length though. I plan to layer this under a flowy back cardigan for evenings about an Italian Cruise ship. ... show more

This is so cute and I wanted to love it. It’s so darn thin though. I know it says lightweight but that shouldn’t mean see through. I wanted to love it. Size was accurate but it’s going to require something underneath and that’s not what I was looking for. Retuned.

Okay, this is a FABULOUS light sweater, nicer than I thought it would be for the price. I love that it's thin and not bulky at all. So I immediately ordered two more. But it does run roomy. I had ordered XXL as recommended, but I found it a bit larger than I like (still I'm keeping it because I can roll the sleeves up and don't mind the looser fit) - ordered the next two a size down. I ADORE the patterns. Ordered the gray cheetah, the navy cheetah and the gray and white stripe. (And I've got my eye on two other colors.) VERY upscale patterns and colors. This sweater is, indeed, a lightweight sweater and well made. I purchased this one in grey with a white stripe. Some time ago, I purchased this same sweater in black and have been very pleased with it. It washes quite well, does not stretch out, and is just the right weight when it is cool, but not cold outside. Although I generally wear a Small, I purchased this one and the previous one in Medium since I like my sweaters to be a little roomy and these are just right--not too roomy but just comfortably roomy. However, I find this recent purchase, unlike my previous purchase, to be a bit too long but can use a French tuck or can simply tuck it under all around to adjust the length.
