This robe is very comfortable and cozy. It’s length comes to about my ankles which is fine with me (I’m 5’2”). It’s also just the right amount of heavyness as I don’t like to feel like I have a heavey, bulky robe on. The waffle pattern is nice, the color is true (I picked green this time), and it washes up nicely without fading, so far. The only complaint I have is that the loop holes that the belt fits through are too high for me, and I end up tying my rob near my ribs rather than my waist. I was looking for a lightweight robe to use during warmer months. I love the variety of colors this comes in and the waffle weave material makes if feel luxurious. It's perfect for throwing on when you get out of the shower or when it's summertime but you want to feel cozy still, or warm up in air conditioning without a heavy plush garment. I love it. the only drawback is that I'd say after I washed it, the arms length shrunk slightly. But not horribly. I do love longer arms on my shirts, and hate when they don't even hit your wrist. These came to about my wrist, slightly longer once it shrunk but it didn't bother me. And it didn't shrink a ton either, so that's not something to be overly concerned about. It fits pretty true to size, not over size, so size up if you want something roomier. ... show more

This robe is exactly what I wanted it to be. It is light weight. I really like the waffled texture of the fabric. It has pockets sewn onto the front panels of the robe rather than in the side seam. It's less bulky that way. I love the color and the price was right. Is it luxury? No. Is it high end fabric? No. Are either of those things important to me? Nope. I would like to say, though, to Amazon, that I've lost weight. I need for you (this computer site, app, whatever this conglomeration is) to stop replacing my medium with an XL in the cart. I am happy to say that I am a M now. I don't appreciate choosing M and then finding XL in my cart. If I don't stay aware when ordering clothing from you, I could end up with something too big. I realize you do this based on past purchases, but maybe you could have a spot on our account where we let you know about significant changes in our lives--like losing 40 lbs and needing Ms instead of XLs. Appearance: I purchased the gray color and it looks exactly like the photos. The waffle texture gives it a nice, upscale look compared to a basic robe. Fit & Quality: The fit is fantastic—comfortable without feeling oversized or bulky. The material is lightweight yet cozy enough for lounging around the house. I especially love that it has both an inside tie and an outer belt. The extra tie keeps everything secure and prevents the robe from shifting around. Real-Life Use: The pockets are incredibly useful and large enough for my phone and other small items. I’ve worn this robe regularly and washed it several times with my normal laundry. The Material: I am really impressed with the quality of this waffle knit. It’s lightweight but feels substantial. A huge plus for me is that even though it’s white, it stays modest and opaque even if you put it on right out of the shower. You don’t have to worry about skin or undergarments showing through the fabric when it’s damp. Fit & Sizing: I recommend staying true to your size or even sizing down if you are on the smaller side. I originally bought a size up thinking it might run small, but it is actually quite generous and roomy. It definitely leans toward a "relaxed" fit, so there's no need to size up for extra room. Washing: It has held up perfectly through the laundry. It washes very well, doesn't seem to shrink excessively, and maintains its shape. Pros: Opaque fabric: Not see-through, even when wet. The tag on the robe doesn't have any information about the material used or the wash instructions, which I find strange. The robe has a strong chemical smell when it first arrives.
