This is a terrific sweater of very light weight. If you are looking to layer over t-shirts or blouses, this will do just fine. There is sufficient arm room (for me) to accommodate a fitted — not tight, not loose — under layer. Length is very good, open stance v-neck: low enough to show the top underneath and highlight a necklace or scarf as well. Basic, classic, versatile piece. Very good quality and good value. Already washed gently in cool water and tumbled on low 5” — then hung to dry in a sunny spot for 24 hrs. Held its shape and body as well. This cardigan was ok, as advertised. And it fit me ok but the red was not flattering for me. I ended up giving it to my pregnant daughter-in-law, who was thrilled with the color and that it was huge on her and very comfy as well. I got another one for myself in black. I like the fit and the color. It’s a very thin and lightweight knit, just what I wanted. It adds a layer of warmth without the bulk. And it looks better and more elegant than the red one. Love the fit, but the black isn’t a true black. It’s that kind of “almost actually black but sort of dark navy” vibe. Returning with regrets because the fit is so nice. Also it is very lightweight and would have been perfect.

This sweater looks lovely with a light blouse or t-shirt underneath it with pants. It is rather thin fabric but still provided a good mid-level warmth. Looks probably works with dresses, but I rarely wear those. I’ve only washed it once (in cold water) but it came out fine after flat drying - no shrinking or wrinkles.
