The dress is thin but not see through; still durable and very much worth the $15/$16 I spent; especially when I have paid more for less than the quality of this dress. I’m excited to wear this dress with pockets that comes to my ankles and I’m 4’10. This is a very versatile piece, for work, weekend, beach vacation! Very nice looking, comfortable fabric. I got a black and a navy blue. This is a truly classic dress, with nice sleeves and neckline. I like it best without using the drawstring. I would have preferred the waist be lower, closer to my natural waist, but by not using the drawstring I may be able to use a belt, or just let it fall straight. The hem is shaped like a shirt tail - I don’t think that is as nice as a straight hem. Cute dress, modest fit (probably for most!) but I didn't think about the fact that it actually buttons up and I should've sized up or considered another style dress. The color was pretty and the fabric was light. For reference I'm 5'5, 135-145 pounds and a 34 DD. The dress fit well if I unbuttoned it 3 buttons and was still fairly modest or I could put another shirt under it, but I'll just return it instead because I like dresses for the ease of wear. I have been looking for a dress for my child's high school graduation and I decided to try this one based on the picture of a more full figure model. I was skeptical as I am a larger women, but it slid right on and was actually very flattering on me. It has some stretch to it and lovely drape. I am going to have to figure out how to keep the bust area from gaping open since I have a large chest, but it's not too bad and I'm sure I'll find a solution. This dress is a nice mid-weight material that should be comfortable for spring through early fall depending on where you live. I originally ordered a medium as Amazon suggested but found it too tight in the bust. For reference, I am about 5'5" and 150 lbs. but have a hourglass, curvy shape with a D -cup. The top part fit but would have required a pin to two for safety. The large was a more comfortable fit with no gaping. I hand washed on cold and laid it flat to dry. I did not notice significant shrinkage in length or overall size. Be aware that this is viscose and requires a cool iron after washing! Overall, it is a comfortable every day dress for work that could be dressed up depending on shoes/accessories. I really like the overall style and am ordering a different color. ... show more

I was a bit surprised by the color when I first opened the package. The yellow isn’t exactly bright—more of a mustard shade. And the spots aren’t white; they’re pink with a little white outline, which makes for a pretty interesting combination. The fit was okay, though the sleeves felt a little tight on my fluffy arms. The material is lightweight and perfect for summer. I was pretty impressed that I couldn’t see through the fabric.
