This is a cute little bag for the everyday necessities like phone, wallet, keys, tissues, sunscreen, glasses and the like. I got the dark olive color, which can serve as a neutral that will complement most of my wardrobe. The style is very simple and the bag is well made with even stitching, so it looks higher quality than you might expect from a faux leather purse. I like the hardware of the closure -- it looks almost like a scarab beetle and has a matte finish; simple but decorative! Adds a bit of polish and helps elevate the look, so you can use this bag for weekends AND work. The strap is easily adjustable and the squared hardware is a nice complement to the curves of the bag. The bag has one large center compartment with a slip pocket, and the font and back of the bag are narrow pockets. The back one in particular is very tight, so you really can't put more than ID or a passport inside; the front one offers a little more room.

Looks More Expensive Than It Is

This Amazon Essentials flap bag, in dark olive, looks like it might be leather even though it is not. The bag has a stiff structure, with a fixed width, that lends formality to the look. You won't see lines or creases over time from it being crushed flat. Unfortunately, that rigidity keeps me from taking it on trips since it doesn't pack easily in a suitcase -- I cannot flatten it. (I usually pack a purse and use a backpack on a flight.) Still, for a non-leather purse, it looks good. The inside has enough space for the essentials. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Great Quality for the Price, Perfect for Travel

I got this bag for my mom, and she absolutely loved it! She’s a fan of the style for travel and for a lightweight, easy-to-use crossbody bag. The faux leather material is high quality and, upon closer inspection, it looks well-made for the price. It’s cute, sleek, and the adjustable strap makes it comfortable to wear. The metal lock ensures everything stays secure, and the internal pocket is great for organization. While I would’ve preferred leather, I understand that would probably raise the price, so for what it is, it’s an excellent choice. We’re hoping it lasts a long time!

The bag is made of PU leather but it's buttery soft and from a distance one can't tell if it's real leather. It looks similar to a designer bag including the hardware part. It saves me money for sure to fulfill the same functionality. It's a flap bag with three components. It helps with organizing, e.g. Access card in it's own pocket.
