I now have this sweater in black and the forest green and they both fit the same. I did order a size up as I like my sweaters very loose. I tried my normal size, which fit well, but decided to go with the size up mostly for sleeve length (I have very long arms) I have washed the black one several times and it holds up well. I hang to dry. These are truly 100% cotton and not made in China. (at least the green one, I can't remember the black one) As for 'thin material' I don't find that the case. It is a good midweight sweater. It might appear there are 'holes' in it or looks 'see through' but that is the nature of cable knits. I just wear a long sleeved t-shirt in dark color under it. The turtleneck is not too tight and very comfortable. I am very picky about that. I wish there was a nice very dark brown in this but might also order the charcoal. The darker colors look better on me.

I have gotten so many compliments with this sweater. Actually bought it in three different colors (navy, forest green, and aqua). The aqua color is lovely - a little more muted than I expected, and a little grayer than I hoped, but it really is pretty. Forest green is a beautiful, deep green, and the navy blue is a rich dark blue. I purposely bought a size larger than recommended because I wanted it to be loose and oversized, which it was. I think recommended size would fit exactly as it should, but with my plus size frame, I like sweaters to be extra loose so they don't cling to curves and rolls that shouldn't be defined. The sweater is also long enough that I can wear fleece leggings without much concern - mostly around family and at home for modesty, but I could go out in public if needed. Sweater washed nicely - no issues in the washer, no snags, no stretching or shrinking. Hung it to dry, and it looks just like new.

I bought the caramel color in an XL because I like things loose. it hits my lower hip and is fairly straight shaped, sleeves are a good length for my 5’9” 145 lb. The sweater is all cotton, is lightweight and not scratchy, but seems fairly warm, at least for California winter days. The caramel color is not see through; I suspect the light colors might be a little, as I also tried white, and you could see my black bra through it. I am returning that white one, and exchanging it for a dark red; nice that Amazon does that. I don’t know if I would call this color caramel, it’s more of a rust orange. The pictures I posted are in a turquoise room, both in and out of direct sunlight, so you can get an idea of the color. But for the price point, a nice sweater. Size down if you want a fitted look, the sweater does tend to run a little wide. I would take a medium if I wanted it to actually fit correctly, but then the sleeves might be too short. Edit: I also bought the dark red in an XL, see pictures. It is not a dark red; I would say it’s more of a dark rose/slightly rust in some light. The dark red was shot in overcast rainy light Edit 2: Bought navy and sage green. Navy is same length as dark red and caramel, but the sage green is like a medium, short and tight, with shorter sleeves. Tag says xl so either mislabeled or quality control issue. Green is also duller and less aqua than pictured on models. Back it goes. Edit 3, OCT 2024: I left 2 of these in NY and realized I needed them here, so I tried two more colors-- Camel heather, and Light grey heather. The size discrepancies are ridiculous. I wear these as tunics, and I'm 5'9," so I order them an oversized xxl. The camel heather fits like my other navy, red and caramel ones; the grey heather is wide and waaay shorter/of a rougher texture ( as the sage green was in my above edit.) A shame as the grey is a pretty color. Camel is Bangladesh, Grey is Vietnam-- definitely different versions of a xxl. So my advice is order a couple of colors, and try them on to see which fits you best. Even if you wanted a fitted look like the model, I would imagine these length discrepancies would be present in another size. Depends on your height and how you want the sweater to fit.

This is an excellent sweater. The cotton fabric is thick and washes and dries very well. I ordered a size larger then I wear so I can dry it in the dryer. It worked perfect. It comes out soft and didn't shrink too much. I still have a soft, baggy sweater to wear with my leggings. It is warm too. I originally bought a black one and ordered this one because I loved the black one so much. I wish they had the olive green one in stock because I would order that one too.

Love this sweater! It’s warm without being heavy. The fit is very generous. It’s made well and can be dressed up or down. I bought this in 3 different colors! They were washed in cold water and put on a rack. Next time, I’m thinking of putting them in the dryer for a few minutes and then putting them on a rack. I plan to get a crew neck…..
