I love all cotton turtlenecks and bought 4 of these in different colors. They are made well and are a comfortable but warm mid weight. They wash well in dekucates and hold their color. I am very pleased and can't believe how affordable they are.

    • Good sweater but not outstanding

I’ve been looking for a fisherman sweater for a long time but they tend to run very expensive. I saw this one and thought I would try it out. It’s … okay. This is a decent quality medium-weight sweater at a very reasonable price. It’s comfortable, the sleeves are long enough, and it’s hip length on my 5’ 71/2” frame. With all that said, I just don’t love it. It seems kind of … plain. There’s nothing particularly flattering or special about it, but it’s a generic warm sweater that can be worn to the office or anywhere that a sweatshirt won’t do. My one pet peeve about it is that the band is noticeably more snug than the body of the sweater and on me it happens to hit right at the bottom of my tummy. This means that the sweater hugs my tummy and emphasizes it. So I have to wear it when I’m not bloated from eating carbs (And when is that going to happen? Carbs and cold weather go together hand in hand.) or wear pants that pull everything in. I sent back the burgundy and kept the cream, but it’s not my go to sweater on cold days. ... show more

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered the Amazon brand sweater and was surprised by the quality, style, and fit. It's well made and looks great with jeans and boots. It washes well on delicate cycle. I put it in the dryer on delicate for ten minutes and then let it dry on top of the dryer. It never lost its shape and looks great. ... show more

I find this sweater just delightful. It is pretty thick but breathes super well. While not the softest sweater in the world, it is cottony and cozy enough to be plenty comfortable. I am so happy by how flattering it is on me even though I am heavy (5’6”, 190 lbs). It looks oversized and covers my curves without making me look giant. I got the forest green, which is flattering because it is a darker color, but the chestnut brown I also got is a medium dark kind of color and still manages to be pretty dang flattering. The sweater is very well made and will definitely keep you warm. I like the way the collar stays up tight around my neck. It appears to be woven tightly as to not separate and fits true to size. I ordered an XL - my measurements are 5'10" 190 lbs, bust is 44 and my waist is 38. I ordered two of these sweaters and I'm happy with my selections. I ordered the peach and sage green. I was hoping each one would be like the color advertised, both darker, I was hoping for a more softer muted color, but I'm hoping once I wish them the color might fade. ... show more

Nice comfy, cozy sweater, but it is MUCH longer than it is pictured. Comes below my hips, like a tunic. I will keep it, but expect to only wear it around the house. Disappointed.
