I've been wanting a red sweater like this for a long time! I was pleasantly surprised it's 100% cotton. The fit is slim but it's not tight, it has quite a bit of stretch to it. It is mid-weight and it feels breathable which is refreshing for me because I run hot. It will keep you warm but not overly warm. If it's very cold it will probably be great with a long-sleeve layer under it. I'm 5'9", 135lbs. I usually wear a small to medium or 6 to 8 US in tops. This sweater is a Medium and plenty long. The sleeves are just right, I often have trouble with sleeves being too short as a tall girl. The bottom band of the sweater doesn't hug my hips like many tops that sit below the hips do. It also hides my "mommy tummy". FOR PEOPLE WITH SENSORY ISSUES: It's not scratchy but not super soft either. Having sensory issues, I can say that it's pretty comfortable. I only tried it on for a few minutes with a short sleeved tee on under. The texture on my arms bothered me a little but I will probably get used to it after a bit. If not, I can comfortably put a long sleeve layer under it since the sleeves aren't tight (but I do have skinny arms). We'll see how it does with wear and washing but so far I think it's fantastic!

These are good quality sweaters. The colors are accurate per the photo. I really love them and you can’t tell the difference in these sweaters versus a higher end brand. However, if you are seeking an over sized look, read the following to save yourself some time. I wear a M but I wanted an oversized look. So, I purchased a L, XL and XXL. The look I was going for worked best in the XL and XXL pre-wash. There was SIGNIFICANT stretching after the initial washing of them at 20 min on low in the dryer. I found the XL to fit like a L and The XXL fits like an XL. I love these sweaters and purchased in multiple colors but I wish the sizing after washing and drying was more accurate. I am hoping that these will work out long term because the price point and quality are pleasing.

I have been looking for this type of sweater for years ... and I mean more than a decade! COTTON (!!), soft, classic, midweight (heavy enough to look great after washing), relaxed fit, warm but NOT bulky. I go with X-Large so I can put a shirt underneath, but they’re NOT sloppy on their own. These sweaters are the quality I used to find at Talbot’s and Coldwater Creek. I finally gave up on wearing my winter sweaters because they were all too warm. I gave them away and replaced them with 'Amazon Essentials' sweaters. These launder well, but treat them with care. I go with a gentle cycle, cold, dried on 'extra low' for ONLY 10 minutes to get them started toward dry. Then dry flat, as recommended. This is quality merch, not something to throw in with jeans and other things with zippers!! I love the fact that I could find jewel tones as well as black. If you like pastels, they are here, too. Thanks for coming to my rescue, Amazon!

I just received this sweater and I'm truly impressed by the quality and the thickness. Given the economical price, I feared it might be really thin, but it is not. It's perfect with a mock turtleneck and it's nice and warm. The color is a beautiful deep navy blue that works well with jeans. I'm sure this will quickly become my favorite pullover sweater. I often purchase a size small but Amazon suggested a medium and they were right. It fits perfectly; neither too loose nor too tight.

This is actually a really cute sweater, and it's cotton! I like natural fibers because I think it helps my body regulate its temperature better. It was true to size. Typically I wear a small and this fit. :) I have slightly longer arms and the sleeve length was good. It was a good weight for shoulder months (winter going into spring).

SIZE VARIES A LOT! - The description says 24" sleeve but my product came with 21" sleeves and a long torso - not the long luscious sleeve length shown in the photos other people had posted! I have long arms but these sleeves were shorter than I find typically off the rack. That said, the quality of the sweater seemed very nice, soft, no damage, decently made, a nice weight - not too thin, and the color( dusky green) was beautiful and fairly true to what I saw on my screen though not quite as blueish as pictured - more green. (My lighting makes it look gray but it isn't) I am 5'10" 140 lbs and usually wear a size 8, I am slim with wide shoulders but I ordered according to my measurements, so I ordered the small. The size of the body and shoulders fit perfectly. Just a little loose and plenty of stretch across the shoulders when put it over another shirt. The body ran long. **Darn those short sleeves!!! I read lots of review before ordering and saw the pics showing lots of product size variation. I don't have the patience to order a dozen of them just to see if I get one with sleeves that are as pictured. Sending it back.

Nice sweater. True to size and color looks good. Looks like it will hold its shape well, unlike more expensive cotton sweaters that look like a tent after wearing for an hour. A tad scratchy on my bare arms but I will be wearing it with a long sleeve shirt so not an issue. I’m going to order another in a different color.
