Good quality Chelsea boot

I walk to work so my work shoe of choice during the cold seasons is generally a good quality Chelsea boot. For the past few years I've always purchased the same shoe and replaced it as needed so this is the first time I've switched brands. The Amazon brand Chelsea boot is good quality, a bit more bud
get friendly, and comfortable. I will say my previous boots were pull on where as this pair has a zipper. The bottom of these boots are low profile and thin so I will report back after a few months of walking how the bottoms of the shoes hold up. They are are good option so far.

not my fav - scuffed and squish my average toes

These boots look ok. I got my usual size and the toes were pretty tight. I have pretty average width feet but these are tight. There's mild support in the sole. The ankle seems very loose (average ankles here) and bendy. IT does have some built in elastic along the seems to add some give. Unfortunate

These are super cute. I got the tan suede. They oddly zip up on the outside, but that's no big deal to me. The sole is thick and the insoles pretty supportive. They seem to be tall enough to fit my feet when they're off. I wear a size 8. I have a lot of pointy toed booties and they're my favorite to
wear. I have long, thin feet, except they widen around the toe area. These boots are not for wide feet. My feet stretch the sides on these which then flattens the top, which then rubs. With my foot out, they look plenty tall. But they're not. I'm going to give these a shot with thick socks, but they were annoying for the ten minutes or so that I walked around the house, because there's really no give to the tops of these to do anything except grip and rub the tops of my feet tightly as the sides of my feet stretch them out. I don't even wear wide shoes on the regular, so I think these may be too thin for anyone except those with really thin, dainty feet. The soles don't slip on hardwood or tile. Good grip. They're comfortable enough standing. I just don't think that the fit is good for me walking. It's a shame, because these are a great office shoe or casual.

I wear a size 9, so that's what I ordered. If I hold up the sole to the bottom of my foot, there's about 1 1/2 inches at the toe, which is fine, you need some room to keep from squishing your toes in a pointy-toe boot. But I cannot get the boot on to save my life. I can't figure out why, maybe the to
p of the shoe is too narrow? I don't have wide or high-arch feet. But I get about half of my foot in and cannot get it far enough in to slide my heel into the boot. I'm going to try some shoe stretchers and see if that helps. The zipper is also on the outside, which is strange. Every other ankle boot I've bought has the zipper on the inside so you don't see it. But I gave them 3 stars because they look nice enough and the sole is squishy and looks like it would be comfortable. If I could just wear them.

These boots have a very cute silhouette and would be great to pair with so many outfits for fall. However, the material scuffs VERY easily. I realize faux suede shoes do scuff more than others, but whatever (very fake looking) suede material they are using scuffs way worse than any others I've seen.
These pictures are straight out of the box, and you can see multiple very prominent scuffs. They don't rub off, so it's not just the material rubbing in another direction. With any wear at all, these will start to look bad very quickly.

The ankles are too high and kind of rubs against the lower calf when walking may be because im short (5.2) and shoe is too pointy for my taste. Sorry it will be going back.

These boots are so cute! The light tan is slightly lighter than the picture and if you are very pale, they may blend in with your skin. Not a big deal to me. They are very comfortable and cute with dresses and even jeans.
