Description
The 2026 Rossignol Nova 4 W is a lightweight frontside ski setup designed for progressing women who want to explore the mountain with more precision and confidence. Offering a forgiving flex and stable platform, it’s the perfect bridge between beginner comfort and intermediate performance. Why we like it: It’s smooth, light, and offers just enough bite for skiers ready to step things up. The Nova 4 makes progression feel natural and fun without being intimidating. Who it's for: Best for women moving out of the beginner phase who are starting to ski faster, carve deeper turns, and explore more demanding terrain. Ideal for those who want a ski that’s easy to handle but responsive enough to grow with them. Highlights: With a short turn radius and narrow waist, the Nova 4 W turns easily but feels planted when you start picking up speed. The Assist Flex design softens the flex in the tip and tail for smooth turn initiation, while the PEFC-certified Poplar wood core keeps the ski lively and lightweight. A full cap construction adds durability and keeps swing weight low, while the integrated Xpress 10 GW bindings offer quick setup and easy tool-free adjustability. At 3.0 kg per pair, it’s light enough for all-day comfort but substantial enough to feel stable and secure underfoot. Things to consider: This ski prioritizes ease and progression over high-speed performance. Advanced skiers may find it lacks the torsional stiffness needed for harder charging. Fit & sizing considerations: Skis true to size. The Nova 4 W is best sized to chin-to-nose height for newer skiers or slightly longer for those with more experience and speed.
