This exceeded my expectations. I was expecting it to fit much looser but was pleasantly surprised that it is a slim fitted cut. My husband commented immediately about how well it fit and the flattering cut. He said it was nice to see a jacket that wasn’t boxy. I paired with joggers and flats and met a friend to move some items and she asked why I was so dressed up. It really is a nice jacket and I intend to buy at least 2 more colors. Quality is okay, I was expecting something paper thin for the price, but it's equal to like Walmart store brand clothing. I'm not a fan of the way the sleeves are attached to the body at the armpit though. They make it hard to hold your arms up without the body of the sweater riding up in you. It's not just an Amazon thing, though. A lot of women's shirts & jackets are made like that. It's a pet peeve of mine. I like that it has a littke stretch to it so I can work with the decreased range if motion a little bit. Because I can stretch it, I hope that doesn't mean that it might have a tendency to shrink on me in the future. We shall see. ... show more

I don't dislike this jacket , but when I zipped it up I found that it's a little snug around the middle. They have put darts in the front which bring the sides in and make it smaller right above the pockets. I definitely can't wear anything underneath it other than a thin shirt or I won't be able to zip it up. Problem is, I had wanted to wear it zipped up this winter with a cuddle-duds and a turtleneck underneath it. I usually wear a medium and the shoulders fit fine, so don't think I want to go up a size. ... show more

I like the feel and fit of the jacket. It is soft and fits just right. The sleeve length as well as the length of the jacket are great - I am 5' 8" so sometimes that can be a problem. I find this to be really excellent for the price. The density of the fleece is good, the nap is very soft and fine, and the seams and finish are favorable. Putting this up next to my Columbia zip jackets, the fit is almost identical, as is the overall quality. However I would say the fleece of this Amazon branded one is higher density and more smooth. My bust is 33" and my hips are 33.5" currently and the size small is close to the body but with enough ease of fit to accommodate a thicker garment underneath it. I found it to run more tailored that the quarter zip Amazon fleece I purchased last year in an XS that was too large overall. This will be a great jacket to grab on chilly days or layer under an overcoat to insulate me on frigid days! A great buy! ... show more

Based on some of the reviews, it appeared best to order this jacket one size larger which I did ( ordered a 3x). The jacket was extra roomy, which I could have lived with, but the flaring at the bottom (as mentioned in several reviews) was off-putting to say the least. The bottom of the jacket fit more like a skirt! Perhaps this may be a bigger issue in the plus size jackets. PROS: the jacket is well-made, has great zippered pockets, the sleeves were long enough for my extra long arms and the color (navy) was beautiful.
