It's hot out. I wanted another pair of shorts to get me through the Arizona summer. And I didn't want to fuss. Just give me a pair of everyday shorts that are comfortable and don't make me look ridiculous. ...and these deliver at a low price. The shorts are true-to-size. The pockets are roomy enough for a cell phone. The color matches the photo. They go through the laundry without surprises. The cut is... unremarkable, I guess. They aren't notably long or dangerously short. The elastic waist isn't too loose or too tight, though the self-tie belt looks a little dorky. (There are no belt loops, which might be a better option.) The fabric is of medium weight. The fit is loose, which is good for my casual needs, but it will never make someone turn their head and say, "Wow, what a pair of legs!" But it's what I said I wanted: A pair of everyday shorts at a decent price. ... show more

Highly recommend, very nice fit, the material is breathable and a good weight, nice large pockets in the front and usable pockets in the back, they wear well since they are a blend, not overly wrinkly and look great dressed up or down! I am 150 lb and 5'3" and a little large fits me well!

Ladies, these are my unicorn shorts. Finally, after buying and returning so many pairs of shorts from Amazon, Quince, and Old Navy I’ve finally found the right ones. They aren’t too voluminous, so they don’t ride up (everything but bike shorts ride up between my legs.) I sized down in these. No ironing. I wash and hang to dry because the fit is perfect. They stretch a tiny bit, so become more comfortable if they fit, but not stretched out and sloppy by the end of the day. They are cool and cover what I need with no extra material that adds poofiness or bulk. The drawstring is functional. I’m 5’4, 180lbs, big butt and thighs, postpartum do and I bought a large after returning XL. Perfect to throw on for summertime and inexpensive. I adore the stripes and just bought the navy. I would definitely buy more striped ones if they offered. When these are clean, they are the first thing I grab! ... show more

Ordered these in medium. They seem to be true to size. I have a 29/31 waist as it varies depending on the day. Hips are 39. Liked them so much order 3 pairs. The military green, dark blue and the terracotta color. They wash up nice. Material is soft. Great price. I did remove the tie around the waist, as I tend to not like how they stick out when tied. My husband first ordered the bottom pair ( picture 1) for me as they were perfect for me. Due to allergies and overheating I need to wear natural fibers. On the first order, I ordered size 2x. They are perfect, so he made a 2nd order 3 more shorts. They arrived. As with the first pair, I gentle cycle washed them and line dried right away to wash any chemicals out. I tried them on they are too large, they literally are Falling off of me and 2 of the 3 pair in the 2nd order are also different in size. All pairs have tags show sizes 2x and XX ( as pictured in the 2nd photo). Since I washed them I cannot send back, and don't want to Pay more for return postage for an amazon mistake. We live is a tiny rural town so if I want to return via ups we have to drive 45 minutess to a town that has a UPS store that we can return at. I can't afford the gas to just for a return. So we lost out on about $80 dollars give ir take. ($25.36 a pair plus taxes. ) and 3 pairs of if shorts to keep me cool. If you look at the first picture you can see the differences In the size. For being an Amazon essentials product you would think their quality control would be on point. But they have proven otherwise. Someone make this make sense? So yes, they are cute and breathable. No,there is no guarantee you are going to get what you ordered. ... show more
