I really wanted to like this sweater. I don't know what makes it look so odd, but it does. It makes me look about 2 sizes bigger, despite being the correct size. The red color is murky, which I didn't expect. the quality is so-so, which is about fair for the price. Ok for wearing under a coat when it's very cold, but only if i don't plan on taking off the coat. ... show more

I have this in a few colors. I like the cut and pattern. Very versatile. I recently ordered the red. Its not a true red. It’s a darker brown red..kind of like brick. It’s pretty . I am 4’9 and 85lb. I’m always an xs or xxs if it’s an option. I deliberately shrink these xs sweaters on hot in the wash to fit my tiny self. They end up good for me. Not loose and almost tight, but it loosens up again as you wear it or stretch it with your hands. If it’s tight you can see through it and the pretty knit pattern distorts….like on the model in the add. Not a good look. Unless you’re a midget like me I strongly recommend sizing up. The arms run narrow and long. The neck hole is smaller side. If you don’t like anything around your neck you may find it annoying if you get a smaller size. Great price for 100% cotton. It's been so long since I've owned a 100% cotton sweater; I'd forgotten how comfortable they are compared to acrylic blends. At this price point I cannot imagine they're ethically made, but I swallowed my guilt and ordered two of them because they are sooooo soft and comfortable.
