These Amazon Essentials Cargo Fleece Sweatpants turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Right out of the package, the first thing that caught my attention was how substantial and well-made they felt. The fleece material is heavier weight than most sweatpants I've tried, which makes them exceptionally cozy and warm. Now, living in Texas, these definitely aren't going to be my first pick in the scorching summer heat, but they’re absolutely perfect for fall, winter, and spring. The fit is comfortable without being overly baggy, and the open hem gives them a relaxed, casual look. After several washes, I'm happy to report that there was no noticeable shrinking or fading—they held their shape and softness beautifully. I particularly love the cargo pockets, which add functionality without making the pants look bulky. Overall, these sweatpants have quickly become my go-to pair when the temperature drops. These look nice. They are true fleece & great for winter. Hubs had surgery in January up north/during snows & hated giving up jeans for recovery. I was trying to find something that didn't feel too out of place if we went shopping or out to eat. He liked the look of having cargo style as it made them look more like pants, along with the open hem. Of course they're still casual & have a drawstring so he had to be careful loading up the wallet keys & phone as he has no belt like he did with jeans. The size was good. Length was long (I did need to hem for him - he's 6 ft but his legs are not long. They've washed very well with no shrinkage. They're comfy & wearing well as far as we can tell. Great value & quality - no complaints so far. Since it's winter we looked for the fleece style as well as the other lighter style. Apparently "Sweatpant" does not automatically mean heavy FLEECE any more ... it could also be the light version too. ... show more

These sweatpants are really comfortable. I love the side pockets, especially since they’re Velcro, which helps keep your belongings secure. The variety of colors they come in is great, and they fit true to size. I ordered almost every color. I love my sweatpants. My only personal preference is that I wish the ankles were a bit wider, as I tend to like baggy pants. The material is soft, and the fleece-like lining inside is perfect for colder weather. These joggers are so soft on the inside as well as the outside. They’re thick and keep you so warm and cozy. They’re of amazing quality, I was pleasantly surprised. I did but this for my husband but ended up keeping these because I like them so much. They’re amazing for the price and I’d buy these again but the original ones have held up so great over time. These are honestly my favourite joggers ever and I LOOVVEE wearing these around fall or winter. I can’t emphasize how cozy these are. ... show more

Based on my waist size and the chart showed with the item I bought a large but they were so large I sent them back and exchanged for a medium. The medium fit just right so the chart size is just a suggestion, your milage may vary as they say. The length is just about right also and I am 5'10, maybe 1-2" to spare on the length part which is fine with me. They dont appear to be to long at all. Someone over 5' 11" would probably not fit just right and should get a large. I like the pockets, 2 regular pockets which are big enough to hold an iPhone no problem. The 2 other pockets below them are even bigger and have a flap with velcro that holds the flap shut, very nice. I I saw a lot of choices of other brands with 2 pockets only and complaints of small pockets, this is not that. You will like these, they feel soft and comfortable, just stretchy enough. I spent a lot of time looking at a lot of brands and choices, so you wont have to do that. These are good, buy them. Easy enough to return if they arent right. Your welcome. I like the material. For a 36/37 inch the proportions are way off. I like relaxed fit. The cut seems to be for a XXL person. The dimension drop the crotch to waist is 13 inches. (Seems long) In the past I have ordered XL.. this time I ordered L and was sent another XL. (Rate 2 1/2 stars).
