My husband is 6'4" and weighs 220 pounds, and in his regular size 40W x 32L, these cargo pants fit him well. They have a classic straight fit that sits comfortably at the waist and provides room through the hip and thigh without feeling too loose. The cotton twill is soft from the wash and has a bit of stretch, making them easy to move in throughout the day. The 8-inch leg opening fits nicely over casual or dress shoes, and the zippered fly with button closure feels secure and sturdy. The cargo pockets are practical and hold small items without adding bulk, while the back pockets stay flat, keeping the silhouette clean. These pants offer a good balance of casual style and everyday comfort, making them a solid alternative to standard chinos or jeans. We are unable to comment on durability since he has only worn them a few times. Think trim and athletic. If you have overly muscular calves the pants might fit too tight. True pockets. Unlike many cargo pants where things fall out of your pockets when you sit down in a recliner. The sizing is satisfying. The stretch is nice and forgiving. The leg and back pockets have expansion gussets with buttons. They seem well made. I'd wear them for light duty. I wouldn't expect them to handle harsh abrasion. They feel too soft for that. They're not lined so they'll be equivalent to denim jeans for warmth. I like them almost as much as the GAP cargo pants equivalent. They're less expensive, so I'm much more likely to wear them while working. Amazon Essentials redeemed themselves with this product! The last Amazon brand Khaki's I bought were terrible. These however have an excellent fit and quality material. No need to spend 50 bucks or more on a decent pair of cargo pants. I am 5'6" tall...I take a size 40 and my true inseam is short....ideally about 26". I ordered these in a 40"x28" size and they fit great. I will never find an out of the box size 26" inseam so the fact that I can get these at 28" and they look good is a plus! They run true to size and the little stretch in the waist makes me think I can easily order 38" waist the next time. But I do like a little extra room, so these are great. Buy them, you will not be disappointed. The ONLY thing I wish they had were snap closures on the pockets instead of buttons, but that's not worth taking a star away.
