Perfect flannel .
Size: Small
Color: Yellow, Plaid
I wanted an oversized flannel and thought the small would be tight but it was perfect. The material feels thick, soft and very comfortable. Happy with the purchase.

Runs large so size down. Barely shrunk in the dryer :-)
Size: Small
Color: Black, Buffalo Plaid
I'll be honest, I am skeptical of buying any clothing online, much less flannel that can shrink pretty drastically if it's made with cheap fabric. Without being able to feel the material and try it on for size, I don't like being bothered with the hassle of returning/exchanging. But I took a chance with this one and I'm glad I did. It fits perfect, even after washing! It barely shrank in the dryer. Using low heat, it retained almost all of its length. SIZING: These shirts run large, so size down. I haven't been a small in anything in my adult life and I'm glad I read in the description that the model in the pictures is 6'2" and wearing a medium. I am 2" shorter so I ordered a small and it fits perfectly. QUALITY: This is a soft medium weight flannel that seems to be made of higher quality material. As I said, it barely shrunk in the dryer so that leads me to believe the cotton isn't cheap. The patterns line up on the seams and on the chest pocket. BOTTOM LINE: I would definitely recommend this shirt. For the price, you'll be hard pressed to find a better quality shirt than this. I was so happy with the fit after washing that I immediately went online and bought three more. When I find a brand that fits me well, I tend to stick to it because being tall and thin, buying shirts is a challenge. I've attached two pictures for reference to length. They were taken after its first wash. I am 6' 165lbs. and I have a 32" waist and I'm wearing a small. I hope that helps

Winning Flannel!
Size: X-Large
Color: Black, Buffalo Plaid
The best flannels I have ever purchased, I purchased off Amazon this year for my brother for Christmas! It is difficult shopping online for flannel button ups because you can't see them and feel them in person (maybe I'm just super picky!). This is a perfect material--it is soft, thick and cozy without being too warm or being too thick that it is uncomfortable around the neck and under the armpits. It washes very well and stays soft. Looks great buttoned up or unbuttoned, it's a fantastic layering piece. The colors are vibrant & the plaid print stays sharp enough even after washing (sometimes after washing flannels, they end up becoming "fuzzy" from the cotton piling & the color and print fades, but have not had this issue with these). I love these flannels so much that I want to buy them in smaller sizes for myself!

Comfortable and well made
Size: Medium
Color: Black, Buffalo Plaid
This is an excellent shirt. The texture is a brushed, soft finish that is very comfortable. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 190 pounds with a somewhat broad chest. A medium fit me well to provide a slim, well put together look without looking or feeling tight at all. The hem of the shirt hits just below the opening of my front pocket on my jeans. The armholes are tailored a bit higher than you would find on a "work" flannel and are more consistent with a dress shirt style. That isn't to say that this flannel is restrictive in any way. It is comfortable with enough room to move around and do any routine tasks. I probably wouldn't wear this if you plan on chopping wood or doing something really upper body intensive though. The stitching appears to be solid but I will have to wear it for a while to see how it holds up over time. I am a bit disappointed that Amazon doesn't provide a fit guide or sizing chart for their own products. Those are very common among other brands and it would certainly help others feel more confident in their purchase. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a casual flannel that doesn't want something overly baggy or super-slim. ***UPDATE*** The sizing chart link is available on the desktop web interface of the site, however that link is absent on the mobile app (what I used to purchase the shirt).

Not unqualified 5 star rating, but still a great deal
Size: Large
Color: Bright Blue, Plaid
The bottom line is that I plan to buy another in a couple of weeks. Also, I'll likely check out some of Amazon Essential's other offerings. I just got the shirt and tried it on. I should note that it's 100% cotton, and that I've not washed it -- I don't know how much it is to shrink. Pros + Very soft, great for cold winter days -- really great feel! + Sturdier than I expected + Nice looking ( - BUT color isn't exactly as I'd expected as there is some green, which I can live with, just sayin') + You can't beat the price Cons - I'm 6'1" and 190 lbs. I bought size large, and it seems just right. I do typically like shirts such as these to be a bit roomy (relative to dress shirts) Word to the wise to check the color on another device or in another browser. Again, I will be getting another, and I'm happy enough to consider buying some of Amazon's other clothes offerings based upon this.

Much Looser fit than the non-flannel amazon shirts.
Size: Large
Color: Black, Buffalo Plaid
Soft flannel, so that's good. I like a boxy cut but this was too loose and too boxy. The shirt runs a bit long and I am six feet tall so must tuck it in. The non-flannel amazon men's shirts had a good fit but I think they went more baggy with the flannels. Would not buy more of them myself. Someone with a stockier frame might like these though

Well Worth it, also plan to buy others
Size: Small
Color: Blue, Ombre/Plaid
Good Fit, good material and properly tailored. It's tailored so the front and rear are both the proper length and the cut gives it a proper shape, add to that a decent price this is a 5 Star product for sure. This is the first Amazon Essentials shirt I have tried out and I plan to get more seeing how impressed I am with this one. Hey it even has the extra buttons attached in case one gets lost, nice touch for this price range.

Great think soft flannel!
Size: Medium
Color: Red, Plaid
I am 6'1" and 175. I bought the medium and as you can see in the pics its fits quite well. I actually would want it a little tighter, but I am sure it will shrink after more washes. The pics are after one wash on cold and low tumble dry. No iron. As you can see it doesn't wrinkle easily. Arms are actually a good length and I have longer arms then most my height. This is a very warm soft thick flannel. Great for cold weather and rainy days! I am buying more for sure now!!
