These shirts are amazing! I have always had sensitive skin and worn all natural cotton fabrics. Recently I began picking up strong fragrances on my cotton clothes that would not wash out when getting physical therapy. Looking for a material that does not readily absorb odors I opted for these shirts and shorts. All I can say is, wow! 1. They are so light and comfortable it's almost like wearing nothing. 2. They are cool to wear. I am in a hot and muggy climate and felt immeasurably cooler going out in these than if I'd worn my cotton shirt and shorts. 3. They are stretchy, which is awesome for those with shoulder injuries. My shoulders are locked up and don't go back or overhead without pain, so taking a shirt off became very challenging, often requiring scissors! I started wearing oversized baggy shirts so I had enough room to slide my arm up and inside the shirt because I couldn't just pull it over my head. This shirt is so stretch that I was able to pull it off over my head with ease. 4. It lays/hangs really nice when it's on. The sleeves are a perfect length, not bulky, and don't stick out like cotton shirts. 5. The colors are bright and cheerful. I got the blue and teal pack. 6. I'm a big guy. I'm somewhere between 6'2" and 6'3" and my weight fluctuates from 285#s to 300#s. I usually wear 2XLT or 3XLT depending on which side of that fluctuation I'm on, so I keep both sizes. I have large shoulders and chest and regular length just don't hang right. After searching for Men's T-shirts in the 2 & 3XLT sizes and having more and more trouble finding basic t-shirts sized like that I had to hit Google up to find out why. After hearing the explanation it then suggested a couple of options based on how companies have started rebranding their sizes. The Amazon Essentials were one of them. Upon seeing them I was suspicious because the size didn't say 3XLT, it said 3XL Big. Also, t-shirts have become ridiculously expensive. Then I saw the price, and was like, for that price, compared to all the others, it's worth a shot. First thing to say, they're not cotton, they're polyester. I wasn't sure on that, but it actually wears well. They look nice, don't cling, and the length seems to match up well enough that I feel comfortable. I've never had a Polyester shirt before, but it feels silky soft too. The only thing I will say that's a negative, they can snag. I found that out mowing the lawn going close to a bush. Love the tees, nice material feel for polyester. However my XXL feels tight across the chest & shoulders. I will keep them now but not wear them in public. Find for using while I do my lawn & garden work. My chest is 48" so beware.

I was surprised how good these are for workouts. They don’t stink up quickly and they fit well. Soft and Comfortable. Better than more expensive ones. Will buy more. Update: they suck. One wash they shrank. Never again.

Tl;dr: Decent for the cost, but definitely better quality elsewhere. I'll try not to be overly negative given the price point of these shirts as well as their intended use. First off, they are not bad shirts. The build quality is in line with the price point. The fit is good for an average sized guy and they look fairly sharp. That being said, I ordered my first set of these alongside my first set of bamboo undershirts. I wanted something breathable and comfortable for work that wouldn't be all stretched out and ill-fitting after a few washes. Unfortunately, my old favorite undershirts are now discontinued. As a result, I bough a "cheap" shirt (this) and an "expensive" shirt (bamboo.. at a little over double cost per shirt). Admittedly, this was not a fair comparison in terms of quality alone. The bamboo shirts blew these out of the water in terms of comfort. I ended up not even wearing the Amazon brand to work because I just felt itchy wearing the blend and weave that they chose for the fabric. It did seem like it would breath just fine at work and likely be the same after a few washes - just couldn't get over the feel of it. ... show more
