Don't think of this as a waffle knit thermal. It's very light and stretchy, but also very comfortable. It would be easy to layer beneath. It's warm for how light it is. Sleeves were little long for me, but no complaints, just gave them a little roll. These are very comfortable sweaters. Not too heavy with a ver nice texture. As others noted, the sleeves are very long. I just cuff them and they look good. It is a great price. Here's the "but" -- they're not very durable. I've worn mine only 6 or 7 times and they're already showing a lot of pilling on the sleeves. Maybe I'll get 18-24 uses before they're too pilled up to wear. ... show more

My teenage boys loved these so much when I bought them a couple last month that I bought the other colors for them for Christmas gifts. All colors were well received as the hues are really flattering and sweater is very well made. I have to revise my review. I was looking for an ivory sweater that matched something from a photo. This is it. Soft, elastic, the color is as shown on screen, the texture also exactly as shown on screen. XS measurement: Chest = 18.5" (flat/half) Sleeve = 26" I haven't washed so I have no idea if it will shrink. Material is thick and warm.
