Okay I was a little skeptical about buying clothes from Amazon Essentials. I mean a clothing brand by an internet company, but boy was I surprised. Buying clothes on-line can always be a hit or miss endeavor with sizing, color, and many other variables, but this was not the case with this sweater. To give a size reference I am about 185 lbs. and 5 11 with an athletic build, fairly muscular arms, 41-inch chest and average shoulders. The fit was perfect throughout the arms not to tight but looks fitted. The shoulders and neck were once again the same nice fit and not too tight. Also, since I have a smaller neck, the fit was perfect there. Not to big but enough to where a white underneath and have a little show. Overall, in the body it provides a nice, fitted look, but not too tight. The length is a a little past the belt and a little looser at the very bottom compared to the upper body part. In terms of material, it is cotton, but fairly heavy. I have worn it with a t-shirt underneath and a collared shirt and both look great. I think it is appropriate for fall or winter as a stand-alone piece if the temperature is not that cold or as a great layering piece if the weather turns cold. I have worn over an undershirt, dress shirt and a jacket and I was warm. Now it is cotton not wool or cashmere, but it is heavy enough that it provides good warmth. The color is a true black. Now let's talk about price. I think I paid around $23.10 for this sweater on sale. The same sweater from one of the other name brand stores would run well over a hundred bucks. Overall, the quality and durability of this sweater is on par with the name brands. This was absolute a steal for that price. This was one of the first Amazon Essentials clothing purchases that made me a believer in this brand. I have made several other purchases with this brand and have been very satisfied. There have a couple items that I just didn't, but the return process was easy, fast, and reliable. I am sold on Amazon Essentials as an affordable great casual clothing option. Since then, I have bought many more items which I will review later.

Best every day sweater EVER. Living in the Deep South it’s difficult to find sweaters you can wear that don’t feel hot. This is a great sweater that never feels too hot. It’s cozy even after a day at the beach. I bought big so I could was and dry it. I’d suggest 2 sizes up if you want a big cozy fit and intend to machine wash/dry. Great quality and incredible price.

I have been looking for a reasonably priced cable knit sweater to replace a well-worn sweater I finally had to get rid of. I ordered this one with some trepidation because it is so reasonably priced. It came in yesterday, and I tried it on immediately. It fits nicely. It looks like it will wear well. The color is nice, deep black, which is just what I had expected. It will be easy to care for, and I look forward to wearing it as a somewhat casual office accessory. Warm and snuggly. Now, all I need is a cup of coffee!

I’m always on the lookout for 100% cotton clothes, and finding a well-made sweater that fits just right is no easy task. This men’s sweater is definitely one of my favorite Amazon finds! It’s thick, warm, and well-crafted. My daughter and I love it so much, and we’ve realized that wearing a men’s cable knit sweater is a great way to achieve a relaxed, slightly oversized fit. It’s incredibly comfortable and pairs wonderfully with jeans and Uggs. We have already washed it a few times without any issues. (5 minutes in the dryer, then lay it flat to dry) I just noticed that the tag says it’s made in Vietnam. I’ve attached photos to help. Highly recommend for the quality and price!
