He told me that the sweater kept him nice and warm and he very much loved the softness I goy thr navy blue and the I think it “ Kelly green”. And they look really nice on him. My husband stands 5’11’ and about 220 pounds and I got him an X-Large and it looked good on him with room to spare. He had a tshirt and a dress long sleeve shirt under that sweater and he still had a little room to spare. I would highly recommend this sweater. Ur other half will be happy with ur purchase for him. U will be also happy and the price of the sweater is really good. Thank you to this company for a well made product for us consumers. It’s nice to get something worth buying Hey one more thing. I washed it and it came out wonderful and I even dried in dryer and to my surprise it came out wonderful as well it didn’t stretch or look crappy. It looked brand new. Normally in women’s sweaters I order a XL for some breathing room and they’re too big. I order a large and it’s got plenty of room to not be fitted or oversized. Sleeves are long but not too long. I can flip them over once and still have room to show bracelets or watch. Great quality, color is rich, and it’s thick material. Should keep you nice and warm without wearing something underneath.

It's not too hot, and I layer it over and under sweater for extra warmth. Love the color and feel of this quality sweater. It's a men's sweater, but I think it's really a unisex sweater.

I wanted an oversized bulky sweater so I tried this men’s one. It’s so soft and great quality. Especially cute with the sleeves rolled. When I first tried it on I wasn’t sure about it. This is a nice sweater - especially for the price. Yes, its cut a little boxy but I didn't expect a form fitting sweater. The sleeves are set in rather than raglan so when you raise them it will pull up the hem a bit. I ordered large and am 6'1", 185lbs, 42 chest, 34 waist (I wear a 16x34/35 dress shirt). I think the fit is great for me, a little big but still fits close enough. The sleeve length is just a little long and falls to the middle of my hand instead of stopping at the wrist which I really like. I typically wear it with a thin, long sleeve thermal liner underneath (think 32 degrees) and it keeps me plenty warm here in Seattle. I have machine washed it once and let it air dry. Seems to have kept its shape and did not fall apart. I knocked one star off for stretch because it is 100% cotton - if you stretch it it will not bounce back so don't be surprised.

My boyfriend specifically asked for a sweater for his birthday and I decided to try this one out simply based on all the good reviews and the fair price for a fisherman sweater. I think we were both a little skeptical about the quality being that it's an amazon essentials clothing item but it's actually really nice! It looks great, the fit is nice, and it's very comfortable and warm according to the boyfriend. It also washes fine- I don't think we noticed any shrinking and if there was, I think just giving the sweater a tug stretched it back out nicely. He has worn it a lot since he got it in the start of November. Like a lot- a lot. He likes it so much that he asked for another one for Christmas. He now has two and I don't think he gravitates towards his other long sleeves and sweaters nearly as much even though they're more expensive. Long story short, this sweater is great and will earn you many points in the gift giving department.

Originally ordered in XXL following the size chart - this sweater was huge! Tried the XL, body fit was ok but the sleeves were fit for an octopus. Out of the package this thing had a funny smell - not even going to attempt to wash it.
