    • Shrunk badly even after hand washing and reshaping

The extra large fit great the day we opened it. Then I hand washed it and reshaped it and laid it out to dry. The next morning it had shrunk to the point where both the sleeves and the length were too short - my son will never ever wear it again. I rewashed it and dried it in the dryer and it shrunk enough that it now fits little old me, a size small. This shrunk from an extra large to a med/small in ONE washing. :( :( Ordered as a Prime Wardrobe try before you buy item. Due to shipping delay/missing item I reordered this to get it in time for Xmas, then the missing item arrived. Too much trouble to return so now I have 2 of this, and neither of them fit my son who they were purchased for. The color is very nice. It's soft. It will shrink beyond belief and no longer fit you if you wash it. ... show more

First, I really like these sweaters. I got the tan-ish color and the dark green. Both colors were exactly as expected. The detailing in the sweaters is very lovely and well done, and the sweaters seem very well-made overall. I did not give these 5 stars for a few reasons: 1. They run a little smaller than I was hoping (I like big, baggy sweaters), and I'm concerned they might shrink a bit on top of that. We'll see! 2. They are very heavy - almost uncomfortably so. 3. They are not soft. I did wear one for the entire day without desperately wanting to get out of it. But, they are not quite as comfortable as I was hoping they'd be. Lots of great stretch and detailing, so I'm going to keep them and hope they don't shrink too much. I always buy my clothes big, so I'm hoping that if they do shrink, it won't be to the point that they are unwearable. ... show more

I bought these in 2 sizes- medium for my husband and extra large for me because I wanted to wear mine as tunics with casual pants for casual around the house and doing errands. I never expected to love them. I searched for all cotton which as you probably know is not the easiest to find at an affordable cost and used the prime try before you buy which has always worked well for us. No need to be concerned because there is no way these are going back. I wear one of the two I bought every single day and it is not only comfortable but looks neat and not sloppy the way I feel in a sweatshirt/t shirt look. But here's the really amazing part- I feel like a college kid- which for me was 50 years ago- and that time of my life has great emotions and memories for me. I can't explain why- I do remember having a (yellow) sweater like this that I wore all through college, and maybe that is the memory it provokes. All I know is I love wearing mine. My husband, on the other hand, took the fitted approach and wears his as a neater but casual look, and I have not seen him look better in years. Usually he wears long sleeve golf type shirts or sweatshirts but when he goes somewhere where he wants to look neat but casual, he wears his. And an added bonus that my usually finnicky "Take it back" /"I don't need it" husband has accepted and embraced his newfound treasures rather than reject them. And again, can't beat the price I got them for.All in all, a trifecta! Of course I want to buy more but inflation budget and fixed income curtail spending these days, but if I could I would build a whole casual wardrobe around them. ... show more
