Good points: Nice weight, nice outside material, comfortable inside lining, and many pockets. Could be better: None of the pockets are "secured". The outside breast pocket is buttoned, but not nearly deep enough to secure a cell phone. The inside breast pocket is almost deep enough for my cell phone, but no button or zipper. Overall, I'm happy with it - just right for working in moderately chilly conditions. Here’s my rating system, an idea stolen from another Vine reviewer and tailored for my standards and my general ratings percentages of vine-offered products: ⭐ 1 Star: Really? - nope, avoid. (≈5%) ⭐⭐ 2 Stars: Seriously flawed - buy only if in a real pinch. (0%) ⭐⭐⭐ 3 Stars: Some flaws or annoyances, but serviceable if you're not picky. Bought mine on Amazon's Woot! site. Marvelous weight, the finish is good and it is comparable to a much more expensive one I purchased years ago. As for fit: I have a medium 'gut', not massive but definitely noticeable. It took a few beers and good food to earn that. I use to buy XL in many things but the flubby, sloppy look is not in these days. I am a bit over 6 feet tall and on a good day weigh 220 pounds. I bought the Large and it fits nicely. It's a bit snug in the right areas, I can button it up and most importantly it isn't sloppy and too large looking. Great jacket, nice material and overall a good purchase.

On this jacket I absolutely love the cotton material. I borrow this from my hubby because it is super comfortable and feels better than rayon or the other materials out there today. It fits him true to size and is super durable. The colors are not super rich, but I prefer the natural look on a jacket, and the corduroy collar feels so good against the skin. It is definitely a great value. I'm so happy to have this in our home as I probably use it more than he does and the oversized fit for me makes it more special. Thank you for this great product.

I ordered this jacket for my husband, who is 5’9” and about 170 lbs and typically wears a size large. I sized up to an XL since he usually layers with heavier shirts and prefers a more relaxed fit. That said, even with layering, the XL runs a bit roomy—so I’d recommend sticking with your normal size unless you really want extra space. What he loves most about this jacket is the pockets. They are actually deep enough to be useful (not just decorative, which is rare these days). There’s also an inside pocket that is also a bonus. The only real downside is the buttons—they’re pretty stiff and can be difficult to fasten and unfasten. It’s not a dealbreaker for him since he rarely buttons his jackets, but it’s something to keep in mind if that matters to you. The weight also surprised me a bit. I expected cotton canvas to feel lighter, but this is a fairly substantial jacket and definitely provides warmth—great for cooler weather. I got the brown color, and it looks really nice—easy to dress up a bit with jeans or khakis. It’s a definite upgrade from his decades-old Margaritaville jacket (which I may or may not occasionally hide 🤣). Overall, aside from the stiff buttons, this is a great-looking, functional jacket at a solid price. I would recommend it.

Color of the qulted blue portion and the brown collar look exactly as depicted and expected. Very classic, timeless and pretty color combination. So this is great and makes it super versatile.

I'm a 5'6 woman and usually get a large in men's/unisex clothing so it's loose/roomy for comfort and not too tight in the chest, but this jacket was a bit too big even for a regular large. The shoulders are broad and the coat is pretty thick so it sticks out a lot too! So I'd definitely suggest not sizing up as a man, and possibly sizing down if you're a woman buying this. The jacket itself is super good quality though- the material is super thick and durable and looks really nice. The color is great as well. It went through the wash just fine and didn't shrink at all (unfortunately for me lol). Overall I think it's a great jacket for the price! Was pleasantly surprised.

The product description on the coat is wrong. It runs really big. I usually wear an X Large but this thing was XXX Large and fit like a tent. I had to return it and was disappointed that the recommended size was so badly off.
