This is a really great sweater. It is warm, soft, very comfortable, and made of good quality fabric. !00% cotton is much appreciated, as many clothing items are made of cheaper cotton-polyester blends. One caveat: This sweater runs a full size larger that its stated size. I originally ordered a size Large, which turned out to actually be Extra Large in size. Another review said that this could be remedied by washing and drying the sweater, and it would shrink down to fit. Nope. Mine shrank little, if at all. Hmmm... sounds like vanity sizing run amok. I then ordered a size Medium, which fits perfectly. The sweater seemed a little tight when I put it on right out of the package. Ditto after it comes out of the laundry. The fabric loosens up after an hour or so of wear, and then fits quite nicely after that. I have worn the sweater nearly every day for the past month and love it! TLDR - A great sweater, but order one size smaller than your usual size. ... show more

I often purchase garment and footwear in pairs from Amazon; the same item but from two manufacturers to compare their quality vs their price. I often compare Amazon apparel garments vs a name brand. Amazon sources their private label garments from the same factories that other name brand source from. I compared this garment with a comparable garment of same construction and found that the Amazon garment compared favorably with the name brand one but a lower price point. Looks great but the sweater is thin and not very warm. The weave is not fine so you can see little holes through it when you tug on the material. That makes it very breathable but not effective at insulating. Definitely looks great but I'd rather pay more for better quality.
