It has the usual thin silver chain and the pendant itself, while beautifully detailed, isn't overly large or gaudy. It has a pressed flowers encased in clear amber type of feel. The cross itself is nicely finished and is pleasantly smooth to the touch. It is meant to be seen from one side as viewed from the rear it isn't as attractive. Thankfully, it lays flat without flipping easily. If you like the way it looks in the product photos, you're not likely to be disappointed in person. This cross is gorgeou, In the picture it is beautiful , in person even more pretty, the pressed flowers with there pretty color's in between glass outlined in sterling silver with a sterling silver chain it's just beautiful. It made a beautiful gift to my adopted mom she just loved it.

The necklace is pretty my only complaint is that it’s a bit bigger than I expected and at the bottom of the cross there was a small bump where the bottom flower is but that’s because one of the petals came poking out when they set the resin. I would still recommend if u can look past these minor flaws ... show more

I was surprised at how pretty it is. I gave it as a gift to a young woman and she was joyous! She put it on immediately, and I was happy at its special presentation. It was not too big—-although bigger than traditional gold/silver crosses.

In my opinion, this is a lovely cross. I have given the version with a silver chain, and I have one (that was given to me), as well. I chose the gold this time as I believe it will better complement the skin tone of the recipient. In this case, I presented it to a lady after her mother's funeral. There were many flowers at the funeral but, sometimes, people can be lonely after everyone goes home. These are flowers she can keep and that don't need to be dried or pressed into a bible (I don't know why she can't have both). I hope they will remind her of her mother. I hope they will remind her, also, that she is special and valued by people still here. I think this cross would make a nice birthday gift, Valentine, or perhaps a commemoration of a special church event. I believe I will be ordering another. ... show more
