Description

This training simulator is a specific device for archery skill practice.Instructions:Adjust the training device according to usage habit and naturally hold the grip. Adjust the length of wrist sling and the rubber band to a suitable position. The sole step on the pedal and make sure it is same direction with bow. Draw the rubber band usingcorrect gesture and start the practice. After the device and position are in place, observe if the bead of gradienter is in middle and if thelaser light is aiming at target. After shooting in relaxation, please keep your hand holding the equipment and keep the strength to control the arm to be horizontal for 2-5 seconds. Then repeatedly make adjustment and practice. Suggested daily practice 1-2 groups, with 15 times per group. First: this product works exactly as advertised. Secondly: this product could easily be improved; make the top level of tension greater, put a cheap laser in the handle that can be held on target, and add a draw loop. I added my own draw loop using the same string that is used for the bow draw loops (asked the tech at my local shop and he just gave me a foot long piece) I tied it on loose so that it will slide up and down as you adjust the tension. This is absolutely a must as practice/excersize should be as close as possible to the real thing. ... show more

This product will help with developing your stamina and hand position. But the locking mechanism does not hold well, so there is minimal ability to adjust tension. And there is no laser included, despite its use being described in the instructions

This is a great product for the novice Archer it will help improve keeping your bow level and help perform with accuracy on 56 years old and I still use it so it's never too late give it a try it's well worth the money I highly recommend this product.

    • WAY too much tension on the bottom cable; some bead fell out

The adjustable pull strength is pretty nice to be able to adjust (use a pull scale for accurate weight) and the level function is great to help with feeling the angle compared to how level you may be holding the bow. However: I spent 2 hours shooting an ILF recurve @ 20lbs pull the other day with no shoulder discomfort. I just spent less than 10 minutes on this thing and the pull from the bottom (holding the bow) band is wayyyyy too strong. Now my left trapezium is uncomfortable (I'm right handed). This may have been made for reallly short people but at 5'11" I'm ending up really pulling on the lower band to get it level to my height. Using a tension scale, it shows that to pull it out and up (to mimic position of holding the bow eye level, I am expending almost 6 pounds (3x the eight of my bow) of tension to hold it in place (but on an angle! They should have thought about height differences to make the tension on the bottom adjustable. So this can only be used for 10 minutes at a time which is very little usage. Even adjusting the upper cloth band section (under the handle), still not enough. Also some bead like object fell out when I was giving myself more play on the cord under the handle so I had to slightly jerry rig it to stop from pulling the cable off the handle. Neat thing to play around with but not recommended for practice. I will have to figure out something to allow me to extend the bottom cable and get a much more realistic weight holding a bow. ... show more
