Our small dog has had issues with his teeth which makes him finicky when eating. We have tried many types of food, but this is the only one he eats without adding anything. In previous foods we would have to add some water or add chicken to get him to eat regularly. Some days he would not his food in the morning at all. Since switching to this food he eats it plain in the morning and with a little chicken in the evening. He eats it all and eats it when it is put down. After reading all the Five Star reviews, I was wondering if this stuff would actually satisfy my Miniature Schnauzer's taste buds, after he's recently turned his nose up at his usual fare. When I received it today, I performed a little "taste test" with it, placing this brand in one bowl, and his old food in another. When I put them both down, he IMMEDIATELY starting gobbling up the Science Diet Chicken like it was going out of style!!! Then just to make sure, I switched the bowls around and repeated the test. He jumped on the SD just like he did before. I guess everyone was right, this stuff is DA BOMB. Thanks for the advice:) ADDENDUM: The next day when I gave Roscoe the new food again, ONCE AGAIN, he pounced on it. He clearly prefers it, and afterwards I threw out the old stuff. ... show more

I have a very fussy dog, sometime she'll go 2 days without eating if she doesn't like the food. This was new food to us so I wasn't sure if she'd like it. She ate every meal.

I have two beautiful Chihuahuas Mia n Fifi mother n daughter and there vet recommended Hills science diet especially for my Mia she has congestive heart failure and stage four heart murmur so I get them a variety of flavors but they love the roasted chicken flavor the vitamins n nutrients is very important for my girls and yes they seem to like the taste the two I buy the most is the 7+ adult tiny bites and the weight management. I do recommend this product highly...you will definitely see a difference in there overall health n energy I mix there wet food sometimes they tear it up lol M.M from Florida ... show more

Easily the best pet food ever made. I've been feeding Hills Science Diet to my babies since 1990. My cats lived to be almost 20 and my mid size/small dogs past twenty. In the '90s I had a pit named Tara who lived to be 15. All on Science Diet. Again, best pet food ever made. So worth the price.

Both of my dogs are a little over weight and they are very picky with their food. I really like how it smells like tomatoes, and my dogs actually eat them. So far, 5 weeks of this diet had gotten my dog slimmer. Not a lot, but a good 1-2lb out of my 24lb dog. I am satisfied. My smaller dog gotten a little skinner too. ... show more
