This necklace is thinner than I expected and the bar is also thin. The chain is dainty but seems sturdy. Sounds like a mixed message but if you wear a lot of jewelry you’ll know what I mean. I used an extension to make it just a little longer so it would lie at just the right place—I don’t like choker lengths and even though this is about 18” I really wanted the length to be 20”. This is such a cute necklace! It adds a delicate touch if layering with other jewelry. For me it was very sturdy for two years until a puppy jumped up on me and snagged it with her paw.
