I don't know if people are oblivious to the fact or just aren't picky about the item they receive. Maybe I received a total dud? I ordered the X-large planter which is described as being 11.61'' diameter x 10.24'' high. As you can see by my pics the diameter is about 8.6" and the height is about 7.7"!! Here's the thing... To add to this, NONE of the other planters (small, med, large, xx-large) have the dimensions I measured at all!! (Small is listed at 5.8" Diameter x 5"H; Medium - 7" Diameter x 6.25" H; Large - 9.45'' diameter x 9.06'' high; and XX-Large at 13.19'' diameter x 11.42'' high). Even counting for interior/exterior dimensions - this is way off. Don't trust the dimensions listed! This is getting returned ASAP and won't be buying until this problem is fixed! Such as shame, very nice planter but useless if we can't get the size we want. ... show more

This is a beautiful, high quality pot. It’s well made, sturdy and appears exactly as it does in pictures. There is a drainage hole with a rubber plug so using the hole is optional. I filled it with water just to make sure the plug doesn’t leak... it doesn’t leak at all. I just repotted my plant into a larger cheap plastic container so my intent when I purchased this pot was to put it right into this one. Which brings me to my next point for the 5star review... A lot of reviews said that the dimensions listed were incorrect so I was nervously hoping that wasn’t the case. I splurged on this particular pot not only because it’s beautiful, but because it was the exact size I needed for the plastic pot I was going to put in it. I was so pleased to discover that it was EXACTLY the size listed in the description, and worked perfectly for my needs. 😁 ... show more

This is the second of this kind that I have bought, I won't lie to you -- I will probably buy more! The outside is textured and grippy -- NICE.
