Thank you! These socks work perfectly. I am 10 days post-op total knee replacement. The compression stockings given to me at the hospital were so uncomfortable because they were too long, bunched up at the top and caused bruising and pain. These socks are JUST RIGHT.

I love these socks. For me they do not stay above the knee so i fold down just below the knee. I have regular knee highs too, but needed some to go up higher. It’s a compromise. Fit just right, very comfortable and warm. They offer good support, they’re not too tight. The downside is that I need them higher and they snag easily. I used them while working around the yard and that’s when they snagged.

I have ordered these socks 10 times, and over the years the quality and compression has definitely gone down. They used to come with a little line of grip inside the top, and they used to maintain their elasticity better over time, I still have a couple pair from that era because they’ve held up fairly well. When they stopped coming with the grippy tops, I noticed they would get holes in the heel and lose their elasticity quite a bit quicker than the original design, but I was faithful to the brand, when they’d wear out I would just buy another 3 pack. I figured since I wear them every day, they’re going to wear out over time. This most recent time I went to reorder these socks I decided to see what else was available for an over the knee/thigh high compression sock on a budget, and I found a number of options that weren’t there when I first searched thigh high compression socks years ago, plus a lot of them had cute pattern options, so I thought I’d give another company a shot. I will not be buying these charmking socks again, even with the one size fits all option from the other company, they still have better compression, they have yet to lose any elasticity, they come up higher on my leg, they’re thicker, and have not developed holes in the toes or heels so far. For all of these reasons, I’m definitely switching to the other brand, which I would include the name of here, but I don’t remember what it is, and I don’t want to lose progress on this review I’ve written by going back to check. It’s the one that comes in a 6 pack with the argyle, stripes and polka dots, you’ll find it. Starts with a C I’m still giving these socks a 3 star because they do start out working well and the quality does seem to fluctuate so you could get lucky and get a good batch, plus we had a good run charmking 🙌 ... show more

I ordered these for a "cute" option to have after legs surgery when thigh-high compression stockings were mandatory to wear (& still is) I was finally going to have an occasion to wear something different than the standard thigh-highs, so finally opened this box & it was obvious the plain black socks had already been opened previously & I thought maybe in packing the 3 pr in box, it came open & let it pass. THEN I tried to put the 1st stocking on, there was absolutely no way that lil foot was going over my foot I could try all I wanted but nope, it was not going to happen. I lay it out n thought how small it looked so went back to this ad & double checked the size chart & it says womens US sz s/m for shoe sz 5-10. Do NOT believe it, the 5, perhaps but definitely not my 9-9.5 foot depending on the shoe style. I held the sock up along side my leg as I lay with it strait out in front of me & it wouldn't come beyond an inch or so below my knee. So I started looking over the box, the side of the box sz chart is completely different than the ad sz chart & says for much smaller shoe size. So since I had tried to put it on my foot, I washed & sanitized it & put back in the pkg figuring it's a wasted purchase because I wouldn't try to return something like that I'd attempted to wear. So I'll either donate them or see if I can find someone with a tiny foot to see if they'd be interested at half my cost. I end up very disappointed & will not buy from this company again ... show more

Shorter than I was looking for as I have longer legs but aside from that you get what you pay for. The patterns are cool but they leave threads open on the backside that can get caught when putting them on. I bought these for after my knee replacement. They worked pretty well for me & are made really good & very soft. At first when the swelling was still extreme on my surgery leg they didn't stay up as well I wanted them over my swollen knee & would but roll down a little so my PT said to wrap above knee with a ace bandage & wear these up to knee .I also wore up to knee on my other leg & stayed up well that way didn't roll any! ... show more

I wanted to love these. I just wanted a cute pair of thigh high compression socks. They are cute and I could see them being comfortable material wise but they are too short to be considered “thigh” high and they are EXTREMELY tight like completely cutting off circulation in my thigh tight. I even returned and bought the bigger size. Same issue in thigh area. I am a petite person. 5’3 120lb. 2 stars simply because they are pretty and nothing else. ... show more
