I seriously agonized over buying these chairs , lol , they were a little spendy. However, I'm so happy I ordered these chairs. They are honestly a gorgeous fabric and color. I got 2 of the blue velvet chairs. The style is modern mid century ,the chairs are firm but still supportive and comfortable and the legs match the style of the chair perfectly. Some reviewers felt the chairs were too small ,however the size reflects the mid century style and the seat width is perfect for small to average size people. I bought these for my (2) teen sons, for distance learning school desk chairs. They are perfect, soft fabric , supportive , fit perfectly under the desks, ( yep the arms of the chairs fit under , 30 in. desk highth and big teen kid sits cross legged in his) and look elevated in the living area of my house. Just wasn't feeling 2 huge computer desk chairs in eye shot of my family living spaces. These arrived fully assembled in large sturdy cardboard boxes with form wrapping inside, around everything and separate dust bags around the chairs. Lifted out of the boxes in perfect condition. Love these so much that I wouldn't think twice about getting a couple more for extra seating , ocational chairs , classy and not huge. Here's the --BUT--, and its not the chairs' issue, these were sent USPS . USPS is not thrilled about a package of this size , and would not deliver to my house. Had to go to the post office where they were holding them hostage( sarcasm), and then these boxes wont fit in a 2 door car ( not the trunk either) . Had to wait outside in the freezing cold/ snowy parking lot with the large boxes until someone in the fam could get there with a truck type vehicle. Sucked to think I was getting these delivered from Amazon and actually it turned out to be a royal pain in the butt to try to get these great big boxes home. Very dissatisfied and disappointed that they were sent USPS , as they refuse to deliver large boxes and weren't happy about having to even load them on a cart to get them out of their package area. Not cool. I live in a house thats easy to deliver to , please send oversized items by a delivery service that will actually deliver them. The barstools that match these chairs were a done deal for me, I was def going to purchase several of those. Now, after the delivery debacle I'm thinking that's probably not gonna happen. Unless they can be sent via another carrier...? Anyway , buyer beware of delivery issues. The chairs are gorge though, pefect ! Let me start off by saying that I love these chairs. I ordered a total of 3 a couple of weeks before Christmas, one came on the 20th when all were supposed to have arrived in the 20th After much haggling with Amazon, I was able to finally get them all. They're beautiful, perfect for my island and the understated grey was perfect for my very colorful decor. They're comfortable, sturdy thus far, and very easy to clean. Soap and water will get stuff out, just make sure you get to the stain fairly quickly. They appear to be petite in first glance, but surprisingly sits very comfortably. We've had all sizes, from little kids to a 6'6 guy sit in them, everyone loves them. Fortunately for me, because I didn't get them on time, I started doing some looking and exploring and opted for the "used" option which was about $100 cheaper so I reordered all 3 in "used" but kept my initial order. Folks, lemme tell ya, there's NO DIFFERENCE in the "used" and new ones. I'm returning the new ones, keeping the "used", and ordered another "used" one for the corner making a total of four, why not, I saved a few bucks. I love them. I could not be more pleased with this purchase. First and foremost, NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED. These beauties came fully assembled. All I had to do was take them out of the packing. They’re cute and comfy, and each of them came shipped in great shape. I didn’t have any of the height variance issues that some other buyers experienced; no scratches, tears, etc. The only problem I had wasn’t with the product. I ordered all of my chairs at the same time, but I got each one on a different day, which seemed strange. However, if you’re on the fence, I would 100% recommend. ... show more

The chair itself is solidly built with excellent upholstery and is quite comfortable (I have a bad back so this is very important to me). I am 6' 00" and about 205 pounds and the chair has ample room for me. The swivel rotates about 200° (just past 90° left and right) and has a spring that returns it to center. There is a metal rub strip on the top and back of the front leg brace that should help with wear on that surface. Overall, an excellent product. I ordered my barstool as a returned product since it was much cheaper than the list price. I've never ordered this way and was hoping it would be fine. It came with this morning's mail truck in an opened and re-taped box. The chair inside is in perfect shape despite the missing padding and shipping materials. I ordered two of these chairs which came as separate orders and both chairs (and reviews) are identical. Since the USPS is not known to be kind to large packages, the seller got very lucky. ... show more
