I looked at so many decorative ladders and finally settled on this one and I couldn’t be happier. It arrived quickly and FULLY ASSEMBLED! I was actually surprised that it came as one piece as I thought I’d have to at least screw some pieces together. Because it comes assembled it’s quite a large package, but it’s very lightweight so it’s not difficult to bring up a flight of stairs for example. Awkward to carry, but not heavy. The ladder itself is also good quality with sturdy metal bars and nice wood base. It’s also the perfect height. It has 4 bars so if using to display blankets, you could fit 4-8 comfortably. I also like that the tops of the ladder are cut at a slant, making it easier to lay flush against a wall. Definitely recommend. ... show more

Overall it’s nice, but it came already assembled which is a good thing, the problem is that who ever assembled it bent one of the rods to a degree where it doesn’t place well on the wall. Me with my OCD don’t like it when things don’t align in such a way and it looks crooked. Also too because of the misalignments when u try to take a blanket off, the whole ladder moves and will fall if don’t hold on to it. It is very light (not even 5 pounds) which really makes the whole idea of having blankets/throws on it not worth it. If u intend to have it solely for the appearance all by itself than it would work, but hopefully it doesn’t come already assemble for you. ... show more

I really like how light weight it is, but its not too sturdy. I go pull a blanket off gently and it moves quite a bit . Also it took some of the paint off my wall(and I recently painted a few months before I got it), I had to take the felt chair stabilizers (ones you put on chairs so it doesn’t scratch your floor) on the top portion so it doesn’t peel paint on a different part of the wall. Hubby hates it, I love it because we have tons of blankets for cold NH nights! ... show more

I liked the wood/metal contrast. Good ladder. It is angled on top so it sits flush to the wall; however, that makes it so it sits a bit away from the wall. The wood can easily be dented.
