I found this Amazon brand Happy Belly coffee when I was looking for a replacement for my long time favorite that had just gotten too expensive for me to tolerate. This coffee has been a good substitute in taste and price. I use two pods to make a 12 oz coffee each morning. I add four tablespoons of no sugar creamer. For most of my life I used just a touch of milk or powder substitute to my coffee, so I got the real coffee taste from whatever I was using and I was very discerning about the coffees I drank. Now that I'm older and have to add more creamer to avoid acidic stomach ache when drinking coffee, all coffees taste pretty similar so it doesn't really matter so much what coffee I drink, as long as it is not too weak. And Happy Belly is not weak. So there's no use paying a lot for any particular coffee.

Honestly, for the price this coffee was, I wasn't expecting anything great. I love when I'm wrong. I just can't be mad at a really decent cup of coffee that's more than half the price of the Seattle's Best that I was buying.

For a daily kcup coffee, these are fantastic. The coffee is consistent and tasty. It has the right amount of caffeine, works with any k cup device, and smells great. The price increase keeps it from a 5 star. When I started the Subscribe & Save it was about 25% less than the current price.

I drink coffee. I drink A LOT of coffee, like more than probably should be allowed. I have drank coffee that has been in a coffee pot overnight and I have drank some of the worst gas station coffee ever created that's been sitting out cooking for hours and I can say this, I'm not impressed with this coffee. I bought the house blend medium roast and while not the worst coffee I've ever had, this is not one I find appealing. The first taste, to me, tasted like it had undertones of hazelnut (not that I dislike hazelnut it's just not what I was expecting) in a coffee that tasted like it had been on the burner just a little too long. It took me several days to acclimate to this coffee and I can say for sure I won't be buying this again. How the other blends they sell taste like, I don't know but I don't think I'm willing to spend the money to find out if they are any better/worse. I can drink it, but it's not an appealing cup of coffee. I'm not a coffee snob or someone that only drinks expensive coffee. But I know what I like and this isn't in my top 10. The best way to describe this is a coffee that would be served as an emergency ration coffee.
