I started eating tofu scramble when I had this ‘economy turmeric.’ It would turn out delicious every time. Then, I ran out of the turmeric and replaced it with one of the ‘healthier’ $7 organic glass jar brands of fresh turmeric. Funnily enough, I absolutely hated the way the ‘fresh, organic’ turmeric made my tofu scramble taste (grassy almost… like too fresh). So I went back and bought this ‘economy’ turmeric, and although it’s darker color and probably less fresh, my tofu scramble tastes amazing again!!
