Alright these pants were close to being great. They fit well, were comfortable, and had a modern slim fit. However, all day long people kept noticing what looked like a rip at the right pocket. Turns out it is just poor stitching. The inside "slim" tag was stitched with a white thread, which is visible from a side profile view. I didnt even notice myself in front of a mirror but am glad a few coworkers pointed it out. The rest of the stitching has thread the same color as the pant. As a result I am returning. Pros: -material is not too thick and not too thin -material has a little stretch to it, but doesn't loom stretchy. The waist even gives a little. -comfortable, stylish, fit as described Cons: -white pocket stitching is visible from the side and looks like a rip.     • Perfect for tall, athletic teen

Trying to find anything to fit a tall (30'x36") slim, athletic teen is next too IMPOSSIBLE. Anything long enough is cut to fit someone about 300 lbs. As a 6'1" competitive swimmer, finding good fitting pants (or shirts) is nearly impossible. Not every person that is tall is enormous! Some guys are tall and athletic but still slim. Sheesh. Finally, pants that fit a tall athletic frame without looking like: A) a garbage bag you have cinched at the waist or B) pants that can double as body paint because athletic thighs do NOT mix well with skinny pants. I'm pretty particular about pants. Shirts also, but more pants. These are great chinos. They're comfortable, inexpensive, a little stretchy, and look good with sneakers. Want to really impress your neighbors when you saunter out into the world? Cuff them. If you don't cuff them, you're wasting an opportunity. I tried to wear them without cuffing them and realized I'm in that weird pants size where 32 is a lil long, but 30 is too short. Cuff these puppies, babe. I won't say it again. That said, I wore these all around Europe and even the French had no idea I was wearing pants I bought off Amazon. They're $30. Bonobos are around $70 or something. Get a pair of these, spend the rest of the money on doing something that matters, like spending time with your friends or buying shots of Fernet (people in Bonobos take shots of Fernet a lot). ... show more

So I have no idea how this happened or which pair is truly messed up, but Amazon as the manufacturer hasn’t been very helpful via chat. They told me I had to come here and write a review to get an answer. So in the pictures you will see I purchased 3 pairs of the exact same pants, just different colors...slim fit 36x34. The blue and British khaki I’ve had since October. Niether shrank in the wash/dry. The blue pair fit excellent and I really do love them. So i figured 36x34 was my size. Well the British khaki came and I never wore them until recently and realized they are SO much bigger than my blue pair. I decided to buy another pair and again the original size I ordered was way too big. So beware when you buy to your usual size. Honestly I have no clue what size I would really wear as it appears the blue ones may have been mislabeled perhaps. I really hope someone from amazon/Goodthreads sees this and contacts me back. I would appreciate a replacement pair for the British khaki pair I cannot return any longer. I will be returning the gray pair. ... show more

I bought these simply because they were cheap and I needed something ‘khaki’ in a hurry. They arrived, I washed them, and then wore them on a 10-hour flight. They were hugely comfortable, didn’t look like a mass of wrinkles at the end., and the fit is great. No complaints.

I just purchased the Slim-Fit Dress Chinos by Goodthreads and thought I would give these a shot as they are a bit more casual. I think this style will be where I spend most of my money now. Comparing them to the Slim-Fit Chinos at Express (32x32) these are similar but the sizes are a bit different. The fabric is a bit thicker but not by much and not enough for me to care. I purchased a 34x30 since I purchased a 34x32 in the Goodthreads Slim-Fit Dress Chinos and they were a bit long. After walking around in these for a bit I can say the waist has a bit of an elastic stretch to it so I might return for 33x31. They do not have much of a break at the bottom of the legs now and a wash and dry cycle might bring them to a flood style I'm not fond of. I really like the style, fit and overall quality of these pants. Buying clothes on the internet is always a pain cause some brands are slightly different with sizes but I can say if you have the time to try and narrow down the right size through Amazon's return policy then this brand is a great brand to stick with. Edit 01 - I love these pants. The fit is perfect. The style is awesome. The quality is great. I washed and dried these and they are exactly what I was looking for. I bought these for my husband and they're great! He's pretty resistant to skinny pants, but he actually likes these, and they achieve a really modern look without being too much. The color is even nicer in person, and the fabric is very soft. He usually buys J. I ordered two pairs of these in late November, and they’re great every day pants – comfortable and stylish. However, after a few months of wear, the seams are coming undone in the crotch and seat.
