This is my second pair of AKARMY pants. The first pair put me off because the ankles were a bit snug. After a year with the first pair, I grown to like them, especially the low waist and cut of the slimmer cargo style fit. I've ordered this pair in a different color, hopefully this will match the fit as the first pair. The quality of materials is excellent - these are well made, with a durable fabric and all that. But they are so comfortable on hikes, camping, daily use, etc... Despite the mindlessly idiotic fake zipper, I highly recommend these. ... show more

I ordered a different pair before these and they were too small in the waist. Couldn’t re-order cause they were out of the larger size, so I found these. Because of my first order, I ordered these a size bigger, I wear a size 40, so I ordered a 42 and these fit just right. So it’s probably a good idea to order a size up from what you actually wear. I love these pants, they’re great. They’re a thick material, so hopefully I’ll get long use from them. I’ve read reviews that said the color fades after washing, but mine have not - yet. I got the Kackie color and have only washed them once so far and color is the same. I’m thinking the faded ones were the camo pants. There were a lot of complaints about the zippered pocket on the left side, it’s not a pocket, just a zipper for looks, so be aware - not a pocket. You still have 8 other pockets on the pants. I didn’t order these for a specific use, just wanted them for the looks, so there just perfect for me. Reviews also said the button has come off, mine seems to be a little loose, and I think it might come off soon, so I’ll have my wife sew it up a bit. Other than the button, all seems great with these pants. If your into Cargo/Military style pants these are a good buy. ... show more

Size: 32 Color: Military Green
The old pair I had were really good - they had deep side pockets, a tool pocket, a back pocket, a roomy zippered front pocket, and side slots to access the pants I wore underneath. They were not so good because they were made of cotton, which wears easily, and the strap connectors in the front would often detach while working, and eventually broke. These new replacement work pants are good because they are tough polyester and the strap connectors are solid, secure and easy. The problem is, there is no back pocket and the front pockets are shallow, and things fall out of them when you bend over. There is only one access slot, on the right. And finally, the front pocket is snap-on, and barely has room to hold a cell phone. ... show more

former US Army Special Forces SGT we deployed north & south of the Equator with old camo. This color scheme fits those areas much better whether its Bolivia or Africa. Two complaints, the zipper (even after lube) i srough and sticky, Seems misalligned. Poclkets to small and shallow for my big hands and my pocket knife which I loved is long gone. Sit down and my pen sicks out of the pocket, knives fall out, flashlight falls out etc ........... I can adapt and already ordered a slightly different color for night/snow ops.
