We have a couple of different comforters, but neither is white, and neither is down feather filled. So, when I came across this comforter by KUSNUG I ordered it. During the colder months we would be using a comforter as a duvet insert, but at this time of the year it gets used on its own, so it needs to look good too. And this one does. Once it’s been fluffed up. When you first remove it from its box it is in a vacuum sealed bag and so that needs to be opened. The instructions suggest shaking it out well and then allowing it to sit so that it can assume its proper volume and shape. Alternatively, they say it can be put in a tumble dryer and fluffed that way. We opted for the first method and let it sit on the bed in situ for a few hours. It does get a bit fluffier after a good shaking but it's really allowing it to just sit that does the job. The outer fabric is made from cotton and the filler (according to the label) is 95% waterfowl down and feather and 5% waterfowl down. In use, the comforter is lightweight and comfortable to sleep under. I was also pleased to see that (unlike some I have had in the past) I was not subjected to feathers poking through the material. Overall, this is a well-made and comfortable comforter that can also double as a duvet insert. It is reasonably priced and if you're looking for a comforter/duvet insert that has a down feather fill then I recommend you look at this one.

glad I decided to order this duvet cover! Warm but lightweight. Fluffy after the first night even without tumbling in the dryer. The ties in each corner which allow it to be secured in the duvet cover, are very much helpful . It’s true size in a king size bed

Very nice and soft. Just the right amount of thickness. The edges were reinforced well and the loops you would attach a duvet cover to seem to be very sturdy. It’s a great size, giving some extra room on the sides. It’s very warm and lightweight. It has no smell coming out of the package and was vacuum sealed in plastic so it hasn’t been collecting debris while shipping or storing. It also appears to be priced similar to others of a similar quality. Would definitely recommend.

This feather down comforter is incredibly soft and luxurious. It originally comes vacuum-sealed, and, as such, you need to let it rise or tumble dry. I popped it in the dryer for a few and it fluffed right up. It feels super soft, is a great thickness that makes it versatile for all seasons, and looks good on its own or in a duvet. The quality feels great and the stitching is very even. It feels like it will last for a long while without losing its quality.

This is nicer than I expected at this price. It's a decent amount to pay, for sure, but still less than some I've seen. Part of the fair price is that it is a combination of feather and down rather than all down, but honestly I can't tell a difference. That's not to say that there isn't a difference - maybe I'm just not fancy enough to know. Either way, I am very happy with it. It is a comfortable and breathable "down" comforter as far as I'm concerned. Notable to me is the tight block pattern of the quilted baffles that keep the feathers distributed evenly. I once had a comforter with a more linear baffle stitch that I frequently needed to shake and rub to redistribute the filling evenly. I don't expect that will be needed here.
