The sound quality of this microphone is very poor. You have to be right up close for the best quality, but I can't think of any situation where it would be acceptable for the listener. Also the mic looks very inappropriate when the filter is place on the tip.

Solid functional device. Works flawlessly and does the job. My only complaint would be, when you have the device in mute, it lights up and when it’s in normal mode, there are no lights. Seems backwards, IMO.

Due to the virus panic,most friends and medical professionals have turned to Skype for conferences and meetings/appointments. This im arrived very fast (Prim). However, a 4 star merit due to insufficient instructions for hooking up to a Win 10 PC to be used for Skype. Numerous web sites later, I found what I needed away from the Skype help sites. It took an hour or so (and I'm an IT guy) to get this working. Once working, the sound quality ws good, and it's recognized by the system and Skype as the default sound input device. ... show more

    • Disappointing failed in compatibility with multiple computers

No matter what I did I couldn't get this to work. Tried multiple separate devices to no avail. The issue I encountered was a harsh static filter over my voice throughout discord, slack, and google hangouts. Driver changes didn't affect it either. Oh well I got a Sony clip on that does the job better

I purchased this mic for my 83-year-old mother in law mostly because it was the only USB mic available in time for her birthday "zoom" party. While it looks like something a 15-year-old would have on their desk, the mic actually works pretty well. My sound card on my laptop broke right before distance learning. I was told that mac products don't work well with external mics, but this was great. I used this to attend and run google meet classes and it saved the day.

Microphone was easy to set up, just plug and use. Very simple and small for those looking for something simple and cheap. In terms of sound quality, wasnt great at all.
