I don't know what's going on nowadays that backpacks are retailing for $60+ , to me that's insane. This amazon basics backpack was $20 and was easily one of my best purchases that I have zero regrets with. The functionality of this backpack is INSANE, Pockets and compartments GALORE! I've used this backpack every single day for the past two months and I'm very pleased. Aesthetically it's a very plain backpack, nothing too flashy nor a "statement" piece which fits perfectly in my everyday life. It also doesn't scream "cheapskate" as the only branding is on the zipper handles and it's black on black lettering (not noticeable). I've struggled with many backpacks "riding" on my back and pulling up on the backside of my shirt which is extremely irritating especially being a bigger guy. This backpack has a great amount of adjustments especially with the chest strap to fit my body perfectly so the backpack no longer moves and pulls my shirt up. Extremely pleased with the carrying capacity of this backpack as I usually carry a 17in lenovo legion, 12in ipad pro, 3in binder, and a Owala water bottle. With all this weight you'd think it would feel pretty heavy, but surprisingly the weight distribution is amazing and with the thick padded straps and adjustments I don't really notice it! Genuinely this backpack punches higher price point wise and could easily be sold for a lot more.

What an awesome backpack! I bought this for work, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. There are plenty of pockets with thoughtful organizational features that make it easy to keep everything in place. I especially love the soft-lined pocket — it’s perfect for protecting small electronics. The backpack feels very sturdy and well made, like it’s built to last. I’ve been using it daily for about two months now, and it still looks brand new. I carry my 15-inch laptop and charger, along with my keys, wallet, tumbler, and notebooks, yet it never feels heavy or uncomfortable. The cushioning on the back panel and straps provides great support. I really appreciate the front clip feature, which prevents the straps from slipping off my shoulders. Overall, this backpack is an excellent value for the price. I also think it would work great as a carry-on bag for travel.

We got this backpack for our son as he prepares to head off to college with his new 16" gaming laptop, and it has been an excellent choice so far. One of the main reasons we picked this model was the dedicated padded laptop compartment, and it does a great job protecting the laptop while still fitting comfortably inside without feeling overly tight. The padding throughout the bag gives it a much more protective feel than some cheaper backpacks we looked at, which is especially important when carrying a larger and heavier gaming laptop around campus. He also really likes the number of storage pockets and compartments. There’s plenty of room for accessories like chargers, headphones, a mouse, notebooks, and other everyday school items without everything getting crammed together. The organization makes it easy to keep things separated and easy to find. The backpack itself feels well made and comfortable to wear, even when loaded up. The straps are nicely padded, and the overall design looks clean and practical without being overly bulky. For the price, this feels like a very solid value and a great option for students carrying larger laptops. Overall, we’ve been very happy with it and would definitely recommend it for college or travel use.

It’s compact enough to fit under an airplane seat, yet surprisingly spacious and holds everything I need when traveling. The thoughtful design makes it easy to access my belongings, and it keeps my laptop and other essentials secure. It’s a great travel backpack that I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic backpack! It does come folded, but I stuffed with a pillow for a day and it removed ALL creases. So try that. ☺️ Sits atop carry on luggage so well and without falling. Molded straps for comfortable carrying and chest strap as well! I carried all through NYC on our trip and it did just as well as my pricier LL Bean packs. I bought this for price, luggage strap, molded, padded straps, and well-designed pockets and zippers. This is easily as nice as my LL Bean. I bought two of these for our trip and packed them totally full for the plane including 17 inch laptops and iPads, and no issues with zippers ripping etc. would definitely buy again! Extremely roomy!

I LOVE this backpack. I love putting it on. It is very simple with way more compartments than I actually realized. It fits all I need. Plus I love the added carabiner that I can clip my hat or lunch box on as I bike to work. Great bag!

UPDATE: after breaking in this backpack and balancing the compartments with books and a tablet, I find it is standing up when I set it down. So now I’m quite pleased with it and think it’s a good value for the relatively low price. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This backpack seems sturdy enough, and the size is good for light use, but it has one major design flaw: when I set it down, it won't stand up; it falls over, no matter how much I try to balance the weight in it.
