Ordered this Amazon basics mount to hold my 32” tv. I picked it because of its price and universal mount feature, plus the quick dismount string. The kit included various different bolts and spacers to accommodate various tvs, as well as the moveable mounting bars for different tv hole configurations. Pros: Super easy to install on stud (didn’t try anchor option) Easy to set up lowering tilt option Very easy to take tv down via the dismount string Included a lot of screws for different tvs/configurations Seems very sturdy with 32” light TV Very quick to mount tv on the wall bracket, you don’t need to fumble with securing screws or anything like that, just hook onto the mount and pull down the string to catch the bracket. Cons: Not a ton of room behind tv for plugs (Didn’t need to use the spacers technically but I opted too for more room behind the tv) Directions were kind of confusing but manageable if you know what you’re doing. This mount was easy to install, super affordable, and works perfect for my 32” TV. One of the easier TV mounts I’ve used.

Inexpensive and did the job, but I would not buy this model again. The problem I have with this product is that mounting plate is a loose fit on the base plate. The spring pin that keeps the mounting plate secured to the base has too much clearance, allowing the plates to move relative to each other, (see video). A minor annoyance is that the string for releasing the spring pin is much too long for small monitors. I wrapped the excess string around one of the extension arms. On the plus side, the extension arms included for larger monitor sizes came in handy for hanging a small shelf to hold a mouse. I used included spacers to set the arms back so they wouldn’t interfere with the back of the monitor. Other mounts I’ve purchased use a screw to secure the mounting plate to the base with no rattling between the parts. I recommend looking at products from Mounting Dream and Mount-It! for a better experience.

The pull-string operated safety lock release is a brilliant idea, eliminating fumbling around with a long screwdriver to tighten the locking screw as on the other designs. I have bought several of these when setting up a new office.

Comes with multiple screw widths and lengths, but only one very large spacer size. The screws were too long by default but too short with the spacer, and the longer screws seem to be longer by the exact length as the height of the only spacer, so useless. I was able to shim the non-vesa mount into this to get it stable though. Given that the mount is not able to move I assumed it would be stable for a wall mounted tablet. It is not, the quick release seems to prevent a tight lock. The lag bolts are also trash, even pre drilling I stripped one almost completely, luckily I also had a square bit. The mount material itself seems reasonably good quality (doesn't deform or break), and the design overall seems fine. I've installed several mounts recently (mostly larger swivel ones for TVs) and this is the worst though, so I would not recommend it.

I used this to mount an LED TV to to a ceiling. It was a broken set so I removed the LED panel and now it's just a remote control backlight. Used this cheap mount to secure it to my shop ceiling. It's a 55" ROKU and is fairly light. But if it can mount in THAT orientation, it will handle wall mounting easily.

I had been looking for a small wall mount for a 32' tv. I didnt need anything fancy. Just to secure it to my wall so my cat wont knock my tv off again. This had me skeptical that it would be worth while at the price. But amazon basics have made me a believer in their items once again. The instruction book was a bit of a mass mess.. but being i used to be a construction worker i was able to get it all sorted on my own. There are addition arms to add one the mount so it will fit the vesa mount on the back. Thant is always handy to have. My only issue were the wall sinkers. To me they seemed flimsy. I ever needed i would buy another if i get a 2nd tv and i would tell people this is worth the money.
