It was fairly easy to put together. It was also fairly stable but with 2 small cats/kittens playing on it frequently it didn’t last a year. We bought a different one from a retailer and that one is still standing!

We had one as high as the door jam but this one is fine. They are middle aged kitties so they don't run and jump on it at high speed anymore. We did have to duck tape the sisal as the tore it from the pole. That's easy enough. We do wish the sisal went from top to bottom of the poles. Kitties really do tend to use every inch from top to bottom. We were surprised that the didn't chew trough the string holding the ball under the top shelf. We have some great kitty videos of them going absolutely bonkers batting the ball around.

We had to put the cat onto the tree in order for her to understand that it was meant for her, but now she loves hanging out there. It's easy to assemble, took about 30 minutes by myself to get it together. This cat tree was much cheaper than what I had seen in some stores and works great. The biggest issue is the base is wobbly so I had to shove some cardboard underneath to stop it from shaking so much. After that, the cat had no issue with jumping to the higher platform. The little ladder that leads to the cave is fairly steep, so the cat just jumps right into the cave and doesn't really use the ladder. If your cat has mobility issues, then I would recommend putting something in front of the ladder to make it easier for them to get in.

While it does serve the purpose of being a cat tree, it is incredibly wobbly. The second post moves so much when my cat jumps on it, it freaks him out. The fuzzy ball was ripped off within a week or 2 and the stairs move. But he does like scratching at it. I just wish it was more stable. I swear the second post is going to fall off in time. Definitely super easy to put together. I *gasp* a woman, put it together by myself during nap time.

When I saw that this item was on sale and that they shipped to Alaska for no extra cost, I jumped on it! Was able to put it together under 45minutes and that was with kitty helping, purring, and scratching at the posts the entire time! I think it's safe to say she likes it. The only thing I don't like about it is that the carpet material is cheap-but nothing that a little modifications from scrap material will help solve. A little padding in the cave, some twine around the ladder... hopefully it'll be cat proofed for at least the next two years (that's how long our handmade one lasted anyway)... All-in-all, we are definitely happy-and what a great deal it was!

I ordered this to replace our really tall cat post for my daughters cat. She is getting bigger now and doesnt climb as well. She seems to really enjoy this one with all the scratching posts and layers of places to hangout. I'm hoping she enjoys the cubby hole eventually. She isnt sure about it yet. But I love the softness of the carpet and how it looks. It also was delivered on time. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the upper levels are not very sturdy. they are a little wobbly when my cat climbs them even after I double checked they are screwed in all the way.

Love it! It was easy to assemble for the most part - I had a lot of trouble with the ladder part at the bottom because of the angle lol but the rest of it went together nicely. It’s very soft and sturdy and my kitten loves it!

Only recommend this for a young kitten who is still small. As soon as our guy got bigger, the tower became too small for him. But as a kitten, he loved this! The scratching posts are perfect level for him, and the ramp helped him up to the other levels when he was really small. As he grew, he enjoyed jumping between the levels and playing with the hanging ball toy. Now that he's bigger, the tower shakes when he jumps on it, and the scratching posts are starting to wear down. Great tree for young kittens though.
