This is a very light weight comforter and I was skeptical of whether it would keep me warm but it surprisingly does. I sleep with a fan on full speed along with the a/c set to 65 and I’ve slept comfortably each night since I got it. The texture is a little slick which works great for me, I was looking for something that I could easily remove grass burrs from because my dogs are bringing them in and they get everywhere. I bought this to replace a comforter that got ruined by burrs I couldn’t get out. So far no issues and I’m very satisfied with this comforter. It’s light weight enough I could add a blanket underneath if needed. The color matched the pic but they do let you know the color may vary depending on the dye lot which makes sense. This fit my Twin XL bed perfectly. It was very wrinkled when I took it out of the package but that wasn’t an issue for me.

First thing I did was wash it per instructions. It does wash/dry well but not as crisp as it was out of the box. You can see some wrinkling in it. The other thing is a pet peeve of mine. Why oh why don't anyone make any kind of quilt, blanket, or anything that is wide enough to cover the mattress and frame? Who wants a quilt that covers part of the sides of your mattress but not all of it? I suggest you size up for the width. Order a full even though you have a twin bed if you want it to cover your mattress and frame on both sides. (The width of this quilt is 63". A twin mattress is 38" wide. That leaves a whopping 25" to share on each side so if you have a 14" mattress and want at least your mattress sides covered, you are out of luck with a twin size.) The chocolate colors goes perfect with my room décor but should I change it in the future, it is nice I can reverse this for the lighter, Khaki color. The other thing I looked at is the stitching in it. It is stitched well new but that stitching is not going to last. It is already pulling with one wash, imagine it after several. Now this is just my personal 'prediction' so I won't take any stars away for that but if/when it happens I will be back to update this review. The material it is made from is smooth and not irritating on my skin. The quilt is not heavy but I sleep 'hot' so it is perfect for me at this time of year however if you live in a cold climate and want this for warmth, I would keep looking.

I’ve had this same comforter before, about 5 years ago before I moved out of the country, and I moved back like 3 years ago. I bought it again because I remember liking how durable and comfortable this comforter is, breathable but warm. I’ve been using a duvet with a black cover for a little while, and while the duvet is nice and thick and cozy, the fact of the matter is both the duvet and the cover were in terrible shape, and the king size duvet cover still felt too small for the queen size duvet somehow (unless I was given a different size duvet than it said on the label). I got rid of those because it was bugging me how it fit on the bed, and the fact that it didn’t stay decent for long. This comforter is so much easier to wash anyway, and I’m really glad I re-bought it. Washed it a few days ago, so it smells like fresh laundry. Laying on it right now, and ahhh 😌 that’s so much better! I definitely recommend this comforter!! It’s not fancy hotel quality or anything, but, it’s really nice for the home if you’re looking for something affordable, but decent quality.
