  • Lightweight, Breathable Frost Protection
Number of Items: 1 Style: Plant Covers 10ft x 30ft
I ordered this plant cover in the 10’ x 30’ dimension. The price of the time of this review is $14.79 which I think is a good value for money. I ordered this particular size because I thought it would be the most versatile, and I can cut it down to size for any smaller spaces if necessary. Where I live, we don’t get too many frosts, however, having this product is a nice option to support and extend the life of our plants. I’ve never seen a frost protection blanket like this before, and the thickness seems to be a good combination between being functional while also still being lightweight and breathable. The lightweight material also allows air and moisture to pass through so you don’t have any additional problems created from trapped moisture. In reality, I’ll probably have a lot of extra fabric. So it also occurs to me that this is a useful material that I can probably find other uses for. So I think this is actually a very versatile product if you start thinking outside the box. ... show more

  • How To Help Your Plants Survive The First Frost
Number of Items: 1 Style: Plant Covers 10ft x 30ft
It's mid summer and we haven't opened this package yet. It's a breathable 10' x 30' piece of strong cloth. We live in a condo townhome and plant flowers and herbs on our front deck. We traditionally have early frosts because of our high altitude, with usually a one or two-day notice to expect a frost. With this cloth, we can put a few hooks on the rails of our deck and suspend the cloth just a foot or two above the plants. Frost consists of dew falling and then lightly freezing. If a plant is covered, the temperature can still go below freezing but the dew will settle on the cloth rather than the plant. With a temperature just a few degrees below freezing, that cloth will prevent the plants from getting frost. It's like magic and, unless it's the start of a cold spell, your plants should be safe for a week or two. ... show more

  • Thinking plants aren't only way to use this
Number of Items: 1 Style: Plant Covers 10ft x 30ft
My excitement for this product isnt going to make for a good review for anyone interested in using it for the labeled use. Lol. We have a TNR colony and the winters are hard here. This product claims to be able to help reduce the impact of the cold, while still allowing things like air flow, moisture and light through. I have to Research a little more to make sure the material is cat safe... But I have a series of old dog kennels with no does that we stuff with straw in the porch for the winter to create more places they can burrow into for warmth and protection from the elements. But because they're travel kennels, the hard plastic shell kinds as well as the metal grid box types... There is a varying amount of openeas to direct moisture and wind. While looking at this product on vine it dawned on me it would be the perfect thing to line those spaces with to create little cocoons. And thisbot require as much straw, or sorry about it catching too much denseness. I'll even take a piece and thread it through the porch railings to crate a wind break of sorts for the worst months of the season! And think push to shove, placing a layer over car that's not parked under a shelter before big snow storm might make way easier attempt to clear snow away. I'm even thinking of lining my rubber boots that keep my feet dry. But not warm. To see if that's a better solution than multiple socks and endless rubbing. Lol It came quickly. Is as advertised. Doesn't smell wonky or feel weird. Looks nice from what I could see. But I'll need to catch up on winterizing the yard before Coming back to add or remove stars if product doesn't meant expectations. ... show more

  • Very thin
Number of Items: 1 Style: Plant Covers 10ft x 30ft
This plant cover is extremely thin and translucent. It is very similar to the material used in triangle shopping bags. It's not woven, so it can't fray, and even though it's thin, it seems quite durable. It's very light, so it won't damage your plants when you lay it over them. Since it's translucent, it will allow limited sunshine to reach your plants. The primary function is to protect your plants from an early frost, and it will do that really well. Just make sure to anchor down all the edges with rocks or bricks, to trap warm air like a mini greenhouse. Excellent value for the price. You can cut it to any size with scissors. ... show more

  • Great for covering plants from frost, bugs.
Number of Items: 1 Style: Plant Covers 10ft x 30ft
If you don't want to use chemicals in your garden, but love worm-free produce, try this fabric for covering your garden. I bought 10' lengths of PEX tubing at my local big box store. It bends easily to make hoops and then you simply pull the fabric over your growing crops. Make sure there are no gaps for letting in the little wee beasties and your plants can grow without bugs munching on them. Easy to remove and reusable from one year to the next. although after 3 years or so, it will start to deteriorate but you can definitely use it more than once. Easy to cut with scissors, easy to store and use. ... show more

  • Frostbitten Veggies? Not on My Watch
Number of Items: 1 Style: Plant Covers 10ft x 30ft
It’s not even cold yet, but I’ve already unrolled this thing like I’m gearing up for battle against Jack Frost himself. This cover? Massive. Like “let me just casually protect an entire raised bed, three planters, and maybe a small emotional breakdown” massive. It cut clean, didn’t tear, and folded back up surprisingly well after my test run. The material feels like the lovechild of a reusable grocery bag and a cozy cloud. Light enough to not suffocate my basil but sturdy enough to stay in place once secured. Is it going to turn my porch into a greenhouse miracle overnight? No. But will it keep my lettuce alive through a surprise Georgia cold snap? I am choosing to believe, yes. Bonus: if the world ends and we all must build tents in the backyard, I’ve got a head start. Buy it now. Your kale will thank you later. ... show more

  • Not just for the cold!
Number of Items: 1 Style: Plant Covers 10ft x 30ft
Zero complaints from me on this one. The cover is thick enough where it will protect my plants. I used it to shield my plants from the bugs out here recently and it’s done well!
